I stood up, using the wall for support. "It will be day soon! We won't have time to get there..." I said, looking down, perhaps we should try anyways... I wanted to try anyways, but I knew that would be stupid. We'd be killed and so would she most likely.

"Jason!" Marie said, having been watching over them out of Alexis's sight. "Get yourself together and get the brat inside," She growled, getting fed up with everyone's incopemtance.

I hulled the stunned girl inside, throwing her back in the room and locking the door. "Forgive me," I whispered, still feeling odd.
"How do we know you'll actually take us there, not just drag us around until we sizzle?!" I said, following him.

Marie narrowed her eyes at Jason. "What is it?" She said, noticing the odd look on his face. "You dont look well, Jason," Marie said, gently forcing him to sit down, not wanting her best fighter to keel over because of some brats faulty blood.

The vampire led them through the city until eventually they reached a small dirty street with only a few houses left standing. "It's the one on the end," He said quietly. "You can get in through the back door and go straight down to the basement, that's where you'll find your daughter,"
"It's just blood," Marie said. "Half-human-half-vampire blood, Jason, get control over it. I need you to stay strong, Jason," She said, looking into his incredibly bright eyes.
