"If she sees me, she'll kill me," The vampire said, pulling away from Aden's grip, obviously scared. "I've taken you this far, you're on your own now,"
Marie suddenly raised her nose in the air. She sensed something different. Vampires ... but not her own ... she sensed the bloodless vampire. "Aden." She growled under her breath. "They're here!"

Marie put her hand out to Jason. "Patience, wait for them to come for us," She called for her vampires as reinforcement.
"Take out the goodie-goodie bloodless one and the rat traitor. Leave Carmen for me," She ordered her vampires. "Jason, you're with me," She told him.
"It's a good day to die," The vampire rolled his eyes, reluctantly agreeing the follow them.

I paused, this vampire was mostly useless to us here, but if I could trust him... "Nevermind, you want to live?" I looked him square in the eyes, "Go back to where we left from, tell them where we are," Afterall, it's only two of us, we might need help, "If you run out on us, you'll die, but if you do as you're told, it will be made worth it to you."
I nodded, "Of course."

I ignored Aden, but headed inside anyways. I tried the door and it was unlocked.

Alexis was laying on the floor where Jason had put her, still bleeding faintly, her hand over her neck. She no longer attempted to get up from the floor though, laying still, only her chest moving up and down from her quick breaths. She was scared and hurt and had no idea what to do anymore.

Aden hated Carmen being so stubborn. He followed her silently, not sure why he was even there to 'help'.
