I balled my hand into a fist and let it fly into his jaw. "She's my daughter! You turned your back on your family. So don't come crawling to me now!" I turned to leave, hopeing to leave before he could get another word in, or start another fight.

Alexis got to her feet, listening to them argue over her, but all the same she wiped her mouth and went to stand by her mother's leg-- finding some familiarity and comfort there, unlike she did with her father. Hardly able to recognize his face now these days.

Alexis jumped slightly when Aden punched the wall and it made a loud sound, scaring her slightly.

"You had a choice, Aden!" I turned around and ran straight into him, slamming him against the wall he'd just hit."Go home Alexis!" I screamed at her, knowing she wouldn't obey but still trying. "I will kill you." I kept my eyes on Alexis, not wanting to frighten her, but I hated him saying this with her listening. "I won't hesitate to kill you, you are staying out of both of our lives. I should kill you now!" I say, some one contiplating the idea.

Alexis watched them with wide and round blue-green eyes, looking back and forth between her mother's face and the arms she was holding Aden back against the wall with. She didn't understand most of what they were yelling about, but she knew that yelling never meant any good unless it was a human to feed on-- and this wasn't. She barely comprehended what her mother told her to do. She wouldn't have listened anyways, too curious to go home.

"You've tried before darling and you failed" Aden reminded her as he grabbed a hold of her hands and slowly but surely he pushed her off, pushing her away from him "You're useless fighting against your fellow kind, innocent unsuspecting people, does are the only ones you can handle" He growled, realy to hit his ex if it was necessary to keep both her feet in this world.

My eyes widened as he belittled my strength and fighting skills. I could see in his eyes he was almost near the fighting back point. And at this point, a good fight sounded good. I let a dry laugh escape my lips. I pause, looking back at Alexis, "Go home!" I screamed. I hardly ever lost my temper with her, but this was one of those times.
I turned my attention back to Aden, "But you forget, the last time I tried to kill you, a small part of me still loved you. No no part of me does, it'll be alot easier now. You will die."
