Aden looked up, not paying attention to Carmen for a minute when he heard the man screaming "I think it's a good thing I dropped in" He replied and ran over to his daughter "Let him go, darling" Aden tried to gently pull Alexis off the man, she wasn't able to take on two humans on her own.

My mind clogged, and I froze. I quickly snapped out of my panic. "Get away from her!" I screamed at Aden, but I made no attempt to keep him from her, for now I lept onto the man that had kicked my child. I quickly grabbed his head and slammed it onto the hard concrete. Once he was knocked out I lept from him onto the woman. I sunk my fangs into her neck and quickly ended her life.
I hung in the corner, all the fresh blood driving me insane. my eyes glowed a firey red and I knew I couldn't get closer or I would cave to the ways of human blood.

Alexis looked up at Aden and tilted her head to the side slightly, her eyes losing the red hunger that was in them, turning back to blue and green mixed. "Daddy?" She asked softly, not sure she could recognize his face much anymore since she hardly ever saw him.

She recognized him..
Aden smiled "Yeah, it's me.. listen, you can't handle two big humans on your own okay?" He'd rather tell her not to attack them at all, but he knew that Carmen had more power over their child, since she was acting as if he wasn't alive anymore. "Did they hurt you?" He looked at Alexis and then looked around, to see whether they were safe for now, without any witnessess. Aden saw,however, the glowing red eyes of another vampire..Alice.
He frowned a little but decided that this was not the time to deal with that..

Alexis looked away when he did, her eyes catching the sight of the blood that had spilled onto the ground from the man's leg and where her mother had slammed his head against the pavement as well and her eyes glowed red again. "I'm hungry--" She mumbled softly, somewhat entranced by the thick crimson that she fed on so often.

Alexis slowly slid forward on the ground from where her father was, half crawling over to where the man lay motionless, face down on the ground. She pushed his longer hair out of the way to get to the back of his neck-- her eyes radiating red with the thought of the blood in her mouth and the blissful taste she had come to love.

Alexis finally pulled her lips back from the man's neck when she'd drinken her fill from him-- quite satisified now tonight, having had two humans in one night was almost too much for a little girl.
