Jinxie smiled to herself. Having heard both converstions at the same time. If they said yes they'd be in for a surprise. She had a feeling the two hated each other... well, atleast river didn't like presleigh...

Tokala and Rider quickly passed by, heading up to the carriages that would bring them up to the actual estate that was their school.

The two professors smiled at the two new prefects; and handed them their prefect badges before walking off.
Jinxie climbed into a carriage. Like Hogwarts, the carriages were pulled by Thestrals. She hadn't been able to see them until the last day of her fourth year when she rode a carriage from biltmore to the train station. Halfway through the year of her fourth year her DADA teacher died of a heart attack in the middle of the class she was in.

River pinned the badge on and smirked, being a Prefect had it's perks. But then he knew he'd have to put up with first years,they creeped him out.
Presleigh pinned her's on and poked her finger, "OW!" she sucked on it to stop the bleeding then headed up towards the castle, not remembering if she had to help the first years or not.

Jinxie saw Presleigh walking. She laughed and stuck her head out of the carriage window. "You might want to get on. Five miles to the school"

"okay." Preleigh said, grabbing aholt of Jinxie and getting on for once,without hurting something.
River jumped up on a carriage by himself behind the one with Jinxie and Presleigh in it. He reclined,dozing off a bit.

"See what?" Presleigh asked,looking in the direction. She'd heard something pulled the carriages,but didn' know what.
Just then River fell out of his carriage,and got pummeled by it, "WHAT THE HELL!?" he yelled,jumping up, his robes over his eyes.

Jinxie smiled softly yet sadly, "It's probably a good thing some cannot see them. Thestrals. Reptilian horse like creatures with wings. Those who have seen death can see them."
She told the thestrals to stop. She poked her head out of the carriage and looked to River, "You okay??"
Tavis Strait had been in the same carriage of Tokala and Rider; he looked out of the window when the carriage suddenly stopped because of the other's stopping.
