"Let's prove it right now" Christa said, getting up and walking over to a guy at the bar "Gotta borrow that for a second" She said, taking the sword without letting him protest.
She assumed a fighting position "You gotta put yer money where you mouth is" She told Vega, eager to show what she could and she wanted the whore-reputation gone, a wench, sure, she loved hanging around guys, being adored, but getting in the sack for a little bit of money..not worth it.

"Fight Will." Vega said with a wave of her hand, not willing to include herself in a unneccessary fight. Hell, she hardly included herself in necessary ones.

"Fine.." Christa pointed her sword at Will "Don't worry about my face, It can't ever get ugly" She said, quite confidently, winking at Will and at Vega to show she was just kidding with a clearly self-observed guy as Will..

Will smirked slightly, "Wouldn't be so sure about that one, deary." He drew his sword and put his blade to hers, waiting to let her make the first move.

Everyone in the tavern stepped back when they saw two swords drawn.
Christa did take the first move, attacking Will with good balanced moves.

As the fight was starting, a young wench... if she could even be called a wench... was walking towards the tavern where said fight was taking place. Ignoring the mentions of the fight, she strolled into the tavern just in time to hear the final words exchanged.
"Wouldn't be so sure about that one, deary." she heard before the woman started to attack. Glancing around, she finally caught sight of a female pirate watching the fight.
"Vega Sparrow?" she asked loudly.

Will had steadied himself for the attack. She had attacked him with more force then he'd thought she could muster, but he was still preparied. He blocked her attack and swung one back at her, not really putting all of his efforts into the fight, and making it quite obvious that he wasn't trying.

Vega raised a brow when she heard her name clearly over the quiet tavern-- enough to draw her attention away from the fight at hand.
"Aye?"
She looked over her shoulder quizzically towards the one that had said her name.

CHrista sighed, attacking Will again "Just because I'm a girl you don't have to treat me like one" She told him "I already said I was a good swordfighter, so why hold back ?"

"I heard you're rounding up a crew..." she mentioned, trying not to sound hopeful.
