(sorry, Bella, gonna play Will Jr in a lil flashback to get started)
Vega put her boots up on the table, drinking down the mug of rum in a few gulps. Granted, the mug they had given her wasn't very big and being the daughter of Jack Sparrow did indeed give her the gracious talent to drink like a fish. Either way, she was sitting in this tavern doing exactly what she'd promised William Turner Jr that she would not do.
"Look, we just have to find a crew, Vega. Not a big one, just enough to sail with."
"Aye, aye. I hear ye. We'll split and find one."
"Just don't spend all your time drinking instead of looking. We have to leave by tonight."
"Course I ain't gonna drink 'stead of looking. Don't worry 'bout me. Worry 'bout yourself."
Vega smirked at the memory and set the empty mug on the table top, lowering her boots off it. She thought to call out for more, but on second thought she might as well find a few crewmembers so that at least Will thought she did something.
"OYE!"
She yelled loudly, getting on top of her chair first and then lightly stepping onto the unbalanced tabletop. She wasn't shy in a tavern... hell, she wasn't shy anywhere or about anything.
"I need a crew. Experience is necessary. And ye gotta be young. I dun' want you bloody oldys dyin' on me ship! Drunkards and whores you stay away too! Dun expect to get payed."
Vega added on, seeing quite a few men turn away then.
"It's all 'bout the adventure part."
She finished and then hopped back down to the ground to see if anyone would come to talk to her. She doubted that was the proper way that Will had wanted to find his crewmates for the voyage to save his father, but he could find his mates his way and Vega would find hers in her own... more direct manner.
