I raise an eyebrow, unimpressed.
The doctor returns with the small bottle and hands it to me and I hand him the money in return.. "That's all we have." I tell him, "But thanks anyway."
"Ugh, that's okay, dear. You two have a good journey.." He leads them to the door.

I give them a flase grin before we leave and head back onto the road.
The way is pretty much sign posted, which is just as well, so we don't have to wait around for our highway friends again. Turns out Jack repaid them at some point in my unconcious few weeks, so we haven't got that to worry about.. only the prospect of having about 2 weeks left to pay the bounty hunter all his earnings.
The day soon fades into night and my legs are aching, barely keeping up with his determined stride anymore. I hold onto his hand tightly.. sighing..
"Can we stop for a while?"
