"Alright." Storm agreed. "In addition we'll assign more nightwatches. Hopefully that'll be enough to get us through a few days until we know more." She got up from her chair. "Hank, the Danger Room is yours. Can someone else help me put the kids back to bed?" Once someone volunteered they left the office one after another.
Logan was last to go. He'd been looking at Taryn who'd been silent all along. Too silent, almost. He wondered whether there was anything she knew but didn't share. It were times like these that school telepaths had been damn handy. He shook it off though and decided to spend the rest of the night volunteering as a watch. It's not like he'd sleep anymore.

Taryn paused by the door on her way out of the office, looking over her shoulder at Logan, "Need any help watching?" She volunteered, since she highly doubted that sleep would come to her now.

"Sure." He agreed, not necesarilly needing help but not minding her there either. So as silence slowly returned to the school after the kids were back in bed and reassured, and the rest of them had gone up to sleep, Logan and Taryn were one of the few to stay up for the rest of the night. Logan wasn't very talkative, being in a brooding mood.

Taryn wasn't too disappointed that he didn't want to talk. She studied him for a good hour, not minding to stare at him, she didn't exactly always have all her social skills about her. Plus, he was interesting to look at, so why not stare?

They spend a good first hour sitting around - doing little else but taking a walk around in the school two times to check whether everything was okay. Everything was calm though. Logan had picked up on a suspicious sound once, a shattering of the garbage can lid on the ground outside. But a 'meow' following quickly after sorta betrayed the fact that this intruder was only a stray cat and nothing interesting either.
After their second round Logan spoke up, "You up for a drink?"

"I'm always up for a drink." Taryn nodded in agreement to what he said and wet her lips, "Do we have to drink it walking around or can we sit down?"
She'd only volunteered to help because she was pretty sure that the supermutants weren't going to come back in the same night. She'd hate to admit it, but truth be told she considered herself a big coward.

Logan smirked, "The last." He agreed. So after they got themselves a round of beers again they went into one of the central rooms - the lounge. This one had couches, a tv, and a pooltable among other things in it. Logan dropped himself on one of the couches, putting his feet on the table in front of it.

Taryn wandered around for a while, just looking at things, rolling some of the balls on the pooltable and then eventually setting her beer down on it and then hopping up beside it. She crossed her legs, the left over the right and sat with them banging off the edge of the pool table casually, picking her drink back up and taking a couple sips.

He watched her as she sat down, and kept her gaze on her since then. "Dya play?" He asked, looking for a way to kill the time. And.. of course, meaning the pooltable.

"No." Taryn answered directly, without even glancing at him. She hated games... those types of games at least.
