Adam spared a single glance at the empty rumbottle, and he put it back onto the bar before he smirked at Ana's request. "Can, sure. Want to? Not so much." He told her. He usually didn't buy rum for people who pointed guns at him.

Ana sighed and looked up at Adam. "Alright.. Let's start over, okay?" She asked and walked a few steps back, cracked her head by turning it left and right, turned around again and walked back over to him. "Hi," She shook his hand. "You wanna become a crewmember of a ship?`Welcome aboard to Pearl, I'm your firstmate."

Adam couldn't help but smirk at her attempt to start over on better terms. Even if she was only after rum, it was pretty entertaining. He shook her hand, raising an eyebrow at her introductions. "So, does the first mate has a name or shall I just call you five-foot-three?" He inquired.

In the far corner of the Tavern, sat a pale faced woman, ever so slightly peering over at the bar and the people surrounding it. She appeared neither young nor old, fair bred or rough. She was simply a blank slate of a person, every shred of personality and nature hidden behind cold eyes. Although she couldn’t hear the people converse, it was obvious, as she watched their lips move amongst the busy atmosphere, that they were dealing in something. And knowing Tortuga, it would be something she wouldn’t want to miss out on. Gossip over just about anything amused her, and to hear a glimpse of just a start of an adventure would be interesting enough. Her mind was full of dark things, sallow thoughts; everything was in black and white. And when she filled it with new knowledge, she’d surely let that grasp take hold. Or even better, if she were to find a passage aboard. Life in Tortuga had become dull, between the talk and the indulgence of rum, so maybe something new would be in order. Something her grip could be tighter on than the light, imaginative thoughts of what might become of them out in the treacherous ocean. Taika stood slowly, before striding over to the bar. Casually ordering a drink in order to over hear anything more.

Arielle rolled her eyes. "We've already got a damn lot but I want much more for meself, thank you." I assume you're looking for a whore, she thought. "If you're looking for some girl to fuck, you'll want to look over there." Arielle pointed behind Jack's two companions at a bubbling blonde. "Her name's Giselle. Not sure if you know her, but she's apparently vicious." Arielle nodded at the barmaid who gave her one more bottle.

Mae drunkenly waddled into the Faithful Bride, the noise of assaulted her immediately but she pressed on towards the bar, she need more rum, her own bottle having been broken over the head of a man who was paying her a bit too much attention on the dock. She slipped in next to a young blond girl and a small group of people, seemingly headed by a very odd looking, disheveled man. She dropped a small, charred gold coin on the bar and got a mug full of rum.
The disheveled man wore a hat, like a captain's, now she was interested, she leaned over the counter and tapped a barmaid on the shoulder.
"Who are they?" she asked, gesturing to the group.
"Oh, tis Jack Sparrow, looking for a crew.." the barmaid kept talking but Mae was no longer listening, she had been stuck here for three months, and that was about 89 days too long; for an island of pirates it seemed very few had their own ship and even fewer were willing to take you aboard and end up sharing any plunder. Now she drew closer to the crowd.

Arielle turned to look at the newer girl, drunk, it seemed, swaggering over to her company. "Ah, Jack, see, it looks like you have a second option. That one seems to be interested." Arielle smirked and turned on the bar stool completely to him.

Understanding she is being made the butt of a joke she smirks, and narrows her eyes at the girl, she took a gulp and drank the whole mug down, sweet, terribly sweet and burning, but the water here is worse and at least this is entertaining.
" And in what may I ask am I supposedly interested?" she said, directing her question at the whole eccentric group, even glancing at the blond eavesdropper.

Ana pointed her indexfinger at his face decided to finish her conversation with Adam before turning to the rest. "Watch it mister, or I will make you walk the plank.. or break your nose" She threatened, but her eyes twinkeled a bit. She was being serious about the last threat though. "You may call me Ana." She told him and firmly shook his hand again.

Arielle shrugged at the girl. "Why don't you ask him?" She pointed at Jack. Then she turned to the two standing by Jack. Not wanting to intrude, she watched for a little bit. She didn't take note of whether or not they looked at her, though, because it occurred to her that any one of her acquaintances, from the drunk girl, to Jack, could have taken her rum bottle. The rum bottle which had cost her a pretty penny. Of course she was in no mood to go and fish out another coin (because in fact she happened to have none upon her). And then she looked. Yes, the bottle was gone. And she turned back to the trio from the Pearl. "Shit."
