Mae sighed slowly,"Well, I am interest in him yes, but not in the way he might hope," she announced.

Arielle smiled. "Mm." She looked at Jack, who simply spent this entire time drinking his rum away. "Well, I don't suppose you have any extra coins on you, do you, Miss...?"

She smiles and slips her hand into a pouch at her waist, she feels around, inside are pouch after pouch of stolen coins, she finds the lightest one and pulls it out, she tosses it onto the bar; money comes and goes so easily it means nothing to her. "A round of bottles for the group," she tells the barmaid. She pushes her hair out of her face and looks back at the eclectic group, liquor them up, I need off this damn island. She took her bottle and starts to drink it easily, it is so diluted, all the bars here do that to save money.

Jack rolled his eyes at the banter between the two women that had just sudden appeared. He knew he was God's gift to women but this was ridiculous, he felt surrounded, caught unaware with no escape route and that just wasn't on.
Jack gathered up his army of rum bottles in his arms and moved further down the bar, away from the two 'too smart for their own good' women, away from Ana and away from the Brahe guy. He sat down next to a silent blonde.
"Ello, luv," He mumbled, conversationally. "Don't suppose you're a pretty wench looking for god's gift to women do you? Didn't thnk so," He turned around to watch the people in the room again. Silence at last. Well, silence for him at least, the rest of the tavern was still buzzing. Jack cradled one of the bottles, slowly drinking it, enjoying it's taste.

She glances over at him, not an inch of a smirk coming to her features though. As easy as this is seeming to be, she wouldn't let it slip through in such a boring way. "I don't believe so, no." she agreed, not taking her cold eyes off of him.

Jack laughed a little at her response. He looked back at her, glancing up and down over her body, as he did with every new person he met.
"That's a shame," He said, turning back to his bottle.

"Why? You seem to be quite under demand already, around here." I point out, "Don't need another of those silly lasses."

"Maybe I feel like a challenge," Jack said with a grin and a wink. "and they back chat too much. Don't know their place," He rolled his eyes.

She blinked, slowly, "And ye think I'm any different to them?"

Jack smirked, "You're the only woman in this room who didn't approach me first,"
