"Sure." Adam shrugged. "Just makes me wonder why you're willing to go through all that effort."

Everything Adam said just made Jack more and more suspicious. "I just asked what your plans are, you're the one who mentioned leaving the crew,"

Adam raised an eyebrow. Jack had told him earlier, back on the ship, that he'd lose his position on the Black Pearl when they docked in New Amsterdam. Now what the hell was he hallucinating about? Adam decided not to mention Jack's delusional state though. Instead he shrugged. "I'd rather stay." Was all he said.

Jack narrowed his eyes, he'd been counting on him not wanting to come, so he wouldn't have to physically remove him. But he wasn't going to lose face to Adam. "Alright then." He'd just have to make his life a living hell until then so he wouldn't want to come back. Or if he went near Ana again, then he'd just castrate him by hand and be done with it.

"Alright. Good." So his plan wasn't ruined. It would only take longer, but what was another few weeks to someone who'd lost every months ago? He could handle it. He had no doubt of that in his mind.

"Good," Jack repeated and stood up. "Well, the fountain isnt going to find itself." He announced to the crew. "That's enough rest. By morning we'll all be immortal anyway,"

Adam wasn't so sure whether that was what he wanted, but he got up to carry on anyway. As long as he stuck around, he didn't care what they were going after.

Arielle came up from below decks, hair tied up, her mouth shut.

Mae halfheartedly eavesdropped on the group, but nothing of interest was said, aside from the fact that Jack really believed he was searching for the Fountain of Youth, something Mae thought was ridiculous.
Mae had no interest in mythical water that could make you young and immortal. Life was hard, she was a pirate, and before that a young female aristocrat; there was nothing here worth being with forever, it seemed a curse far more than prize to be sought out.
Now a treasure, that could make life worth living for much longer perhaps, and she had decided she would get to it before the group.
Stewart woke, he had slept for some time because there was nothing better to do. He rattled the bars of the brig in hopes of getting the attention of anyone around who could bring he and his men food or water.

Arielle began scrubbing the deck quietly.
