Logan was the only one really expecting the sudden change of weather, so he had the element of surprise as he kept running. He didn't hesitate, but moved right towards the barricade, knowing they'd have to get through it to get away.
He didn't unsheat his claws, but he knocked two people over on his way through. He wasn't out there to kill anyone, not unless it was their life or his.

Storm watched Logan knock down some of the guards before the first thunder rolled and lighting strook. She turned her back towards the spectacle below her and flew over the police and army forces and to the end of the next street. She stepped itno an alley and waited for Logan in the Dark, knwoing that he would get there soonm

Logan caught up with her within the minute. His enhanced seeing made it easy for him to spot her in the dark and he moved over to her, taking her arm. "You alright?" He said, always checking that first.

"More than fine, what about you?" She asked him curiously because she hadnt seen him in quite a long time.

"I'm alright." Logan answered, his eyes moving to the end of the alleyway for a moment when he heard noise in that direction. "But I think we should get outta here." He added.
He looked back at Storm, "I got a motorcycle parked a few blocks down."

Storm nodded. "Let's go there.." She told him and looked around to make sure that they weren't being followed.

Logan nodded in agreement, before they were moving down the street together again. They still ran, knowing that back-up could arrive any time. Logan lead the way this time, since he knew where they were going.

"Since when are you here again?" Storm asks him while they keep running through the shadows in the street, trying to stay as hidden as possible.

"I ran into Rogue 'bout a week ago. She lives a few miles south of here, with Bobby and Peter." Logan explained while they ran, hardly losing his breath over the words. "I drove up to this place this morning."
They reached the bike and Logan grabbed the helmet - he only had one, but he handed it over to Storm. If they'd fall she'd probably be worse of than him. His head would heal by itself, hers could do with a helmet.

Storm took the helmet without hesitation and put it onto her head. She stepped onto the motorcycle behind Logan and put her hands upon his hips. "The kids have been sent home.." She tells him, after he finished his story.
