Feisty Captain Tamed

ooc: Aye.. good idea lol. How many peices where there? lol I forgot.

bic: Barbossa listened closely as she revealved the location, then went on deck to begin ordering around his crew. After four long days they finally arrived at the Isla De Muerta.
Barbossa walked around the cave, silently deciding what he would pilfer before they left, when they found the chest. When Joanna opened it, he seen all eighthundred and eighty-two peices and almost didn't hear Joannas question. "Huh.. Oh.. Aye, ye know how much just one of these peices'll cost?" He said to her then slowly reached his hand into the chest and picked up one. Suddenly his monkey jumped off his shoulder and grabbed one as well and dropped it inot Barbossas pocket. "Thank you Jack." He said to the monkey with a smile.

ooc: haha I forgot about Jack the monkey untill now.

ooc: 882! lol don't worry we all have "brain farts" as I like to call them! ;D oh and Captain Jack was the one who had the location of it. lol couldn't help pointing out but continue!

ooc: oh yeah, the monkey will have minor roles in the story. i know jack was the one who knew the location, but he can't be the only one that knows these things.

Joanna hesitated to take the gold. Once she saw Barbossa take a piece, she thought the curse was just a silly ghost story. It looked like Barbossa still had his ability to feel. She brought her hand to the chest and took a piece. She could still feel things. After pilfering the cave, they all returned to the Black Pearl. They sailed to Tortuga and spent the gold on whatever they wanted.

Joanna woke up one morning. That day was different from any other day. She raise her hand to rub her eyes and felt nothing. She moved her hair out of her face and felt nothing.

Why can't I feel anything?

Joanna went to see Barbossa about it.

"Hector, something's wrong", she told him. "I can't feel anything. Whenever I touch something, I can't feel it. Has this happen to you?"

She took Barbossa's hand. She couldn't feel anything.

"Can you feel anything?" Joanna asked.

[Lisa]

ooc: Aye.. Our story is unique and I for some reason thought it was 888. I know you pretty much have the stoy planed out but what do you think to Jack being the one who knows how to undo the curse? Just a thought.

bic: When Joanna had came to him that morning he already knew why. He had been up for a few hours already, so when he had tried to eat his breakfast, his morning apple had turned to ash in his mouth. Thats when he first discovered.. they were cursed men, and woman.

As soon as she took his hand Barbossa stood up "What else do ye know 'bout this treasure? Is there a way to un-do this curse?" He asked.

He could see the pain in Joannas eyes, he knew how hard it was for her, as it was for him. There wasn't a thing he wouldn't do to get rid of this horrible curse.



ooc: We need someone to play Tia Dalma in 'Esprit de Corps' It'll just be a small roll but I was wondering if your interested?

[Barbossa's girl]

ooc: no, i have an idea about undoing the curse. how do you think barbossa knew how to undo it with out jack there to tell him what to do? :really: as for playing tia dalma, she'd be tough especially with that accent, but i can give it a try.

"There is a way, or so I hear", Joanna said. "It'll be hard, but it's the only way to undo the curse. We have to find all 882 pieces of gold and return them to the chest."

She was worried. The curse was real. It was her greed and love for Barbossa that blinded her of caution.

[Lisa]

ooc: okay.. sounds good.

Barbossa nodded his head, then called all his crew on deck and began shouting orders to them. They began sailing to where they knew they'd find the most peices of cursed gold, Tortuga. Many of the men traded their peices there for, food, rum, pleasurable company and things of that matter, so Barbossa knew Tortuga would be their best bet.

He then began to remember a dissagreement he'd had with one of his crew member's about what he had done with his peice of gold. He sent it of to his child because of the attack on Jack Sparrow. That would be the hardest peice to track down, but Barbossa decided they'd deal with that when the time comes.

Apon ariving in Tortuga, Barbossa ordered his men to rifle, and pilfer anything valuble they could find while searching for all the peices of gold. Once the attack was over they counted out two hundred and thirty-two peice.

"Six hundred and fifty peices left." Barbossa stated, sitting at the large table with all the peices they colected in front of him. He glanced at Joanna. "Now tell me missy, is this all we must do?" He asked. "Jus' return all the peices to the chest?"

[Barbossa's girl]

"There is one more thing", Joanna said. "Before we return the final piece, it has to be soaked with the blood of a pirate."

How are we going to do that? she thought.

"When we find that Turner child, we'll use their blood to lift the curse", she suggested.

The pirates spent the next ten years finding the gold. It was a difficult task, but they managed to do it. Joanna became very unhappy when they needed to find the final piece. It was hard. She, for some reason, thought something bad would happen when they find it.

Joanna was all alone in a dark place. She didn't like it.

"Hector?" she called. "Hector where are you?"

She suddenly found herself in a cave full of treasure. She was on Isla De Muerta.

What am I doing here?

Joanna heard the sound of clashing swords. She turned around and saw Barbossa fighting somebody. Who was he fighting? Joanna squinted her eyes. It looked like Jack Sparrow.

Sparrow? Didn't Hector maroon him?

Joanna saw two other people in the cave. Who were they? Pne was a girl with blonde hair. Looked about 18 years old. The other was a young man with a moustache. Really knew how to handle a sword. That boy looked familiar.

Suddenly Joanna heard a gunshot. She looked over to Barbossa. He had his pistol aimed at the girl. But Jack had his pistol out, too. His had smoke rising from it. Joanna looked at Barbossa. He was bleeding.

"Hector!" Joanna cried.

Barbossa fell to the ground. Joanna had to get to him. She ran as fast as she could. But everytime she took a step, Barbossa seemed to move further away.

"Hector!"

Joanna's eyes shot open. She looked around and saw she was on the Black Pearl. She looked across the room and saw Barbossa sleeping peacefully.

It was just a dream.
ooc: just a thought. i'm having barbossa and joanna sleeping in the same room. not the same bed though. i didn't want to have her sleep with the crew.

[Lisa]

ooc: Oooh good post lol..

Barbossa shifted abit then finally opened his eyes. The sound of Joanna's cries woke him up. He quickly sat up and wipped his eyes with the back of his hands, then said.

"What is it?" He looked over to where Joanna was laying down and could tell right away something was wrong. Barbaossa stood up and walked closer to her, waitting for her response.

[Barbossa's girl]

ooc: "shited"? :doubting:

Joanna buried her face in Barbossa's chest and cried.

"Oh, Hector", she sobbed."It was a horrible dream! Sparrow killed you!"

Her whole body shook as she cried. She told Barbossa about her dream.

"We were on Isla De Muerta. You were fighting Sparrow. He killed you. I think it means something's going to happen to you. I hope it isn't true. I can't bear the thought of losing you."

Joanna looked into Barbossa's eyes.

"I love you", she whispered to him.

[Lisa]

ooc: HAHAHA oops.. thats what I get for not re-reading what I type before I post it. LMAO.

Edit: bic: Barbossa wrapped his arms around her and held her as she cried. He hated to see her like this but the cure was begining to mess with eveyone.

"No need ta fret, it was jus' a bad dream." He reasured her. "Sparrows dead remember?" He reminded her.

Then thats when he heard her say it.. "I love you." He couldn't believe his ears. Someone could actually find it in their heart to love Hector Barbossa. He held her tighter and whispered "I Love you too."
