Feisty Captain Tamed

"Because your love for him is obiously more important than anyhting else!" she said sarcastically, "Other people matter too..." she said more to herself than Joanna. She pressed her head up to the bars. "I don't belong here." she whispered.

ooc: lol if only Lisa was on! lol it would be perfect for both of our RP's!

ooc: Oh wow.. I'm soo glad you finally let out her past.. *knows Jacks not like that* I love the idea though.. It's great.. And sorry I couldn't have been on when everyone else was my mom uses this computer too

bic: Barbossa turned to see the frightened look on Joannas face, a look he hasn't seen from her in years.

"Joanna, ye of all people should know I can't be harmed. Thas why she's on me ship ta begin wit." He reasured her. When she came up to him to check his wound he stood up and took her hands in his and placed a soft kiss on her lips. "Besides, I know more about betrayal then ye would think." He told her then got lost in his thoughts and memories for a few moments.

*Flashback*
"Cap'n, look what I rifled for Joannas birthday, it's commin' up ye know, in jus' a few days." A young Barbossa said as he entered Captian Jack Sparrow's cabain and pulled out a beautiful heart shaped, golden locket and showed it to Sparrow. "She'll be 19 already." He went on.

"Tha's a lovely trinket ya got yerself there." Jack said as he took a short glimps at the locket then swaggered his way past Barbossa. "What'd ya care 'bout this young lass' birthday so much for 'neway? Ya act as if yer in love." He went on then turned to see Barbossa blushing, and smilling a bit. "Are ya insane mate? Ya think she'll want 'nethin' ta do wit the likes of you?" He asked waving his arms around in the air at nothing in particular. "Yer a bit old for her." He said and swaggered tward Barbossa. "If I were ye mate, I wouldn't embarrass meself be tryin' wit her. She could 'ave 'ne one of these younger men on board." He concluded.

Barbossa hung his head a bit and said, "Aye, I suppose yer right cap'n, I'll jus give'r this.." He said looking at the locket "nd jus' leave it at that."

And he did just that. The feelings he had for Joanna never went away but only grew stronger. As much as he wanted to act on them, he choose not to, to save himself from the embarrassment his 'loyal' captian told him was inevitable.
*End Flashback*

Barbossa snapped himself back to reality and raised Jaonnas right hand placing a soft kiss on it. "But those things are naught but history." He said, in a reasuring tone. "We wont have to worry 'bout the Turner girl much longer, all's we need is her blood."

Before long they found themselves at the Isla De Murta. "Masters Pintel and Ragetti." Barbossa yelled, as he stood at the helm of the Pearl.

"Aye Cap'n" The two said in unison as they quickly ran up to their captian.

"Pintel, ready the long boat." He order, the short bald one.

Aye Cap'n" He said and ran off to do as ordered.
"Ragetti, bring the Turner girl." He ordered, as he took the last peice of cursed gold from Jack the monkey's mouth.

"Aye, Cap'n" Replied the tall, lanky, one eyed pirate.

ooc: I thought I'd throw in some Barbossa/Jack history as well. And we'll skip what happend in the movie, theres no point in re-writting what we already know.. but where should we pick up with Jack being in the story now and what not.

[Emma]

Elizabeth drew back from the bars as a pirate with a wooden eye, the one who had been at her house, approached her cell. "Come on missy," he said unlocking the door, "Won't be long now." he had a ghoulish laugh that frightened her. "Oh Will..." she said as the pirate pulled her away by her shackled hands, "What have I gotten myself into?"

"Eh? What that?" the pirate asked.
"Nothing, nothing at all." Elizabeth replied, she'd kept up the act this far she had better keep it going.

[Barbossa's girl]

The crew made their way to the island. Inside the cave was treasure and other valuable items. The only thing the pirates cared about was the stone chest that contained the cursed gold. Barbossa started making a speech about their struggle to return the gold.

Why does he need to say all these things? Joanna thought. We all know how hard it was.

Elizabeth finally dropped the medallion into the chest with the rest of the gold. Nothing happenned. They were still cursed.
Elizabeth wasn't the one they needed. Joanna, furious at Elizabeth, hit her over the head, knocking her out.

"What do we do now, Hector?" Joanna asked.

ooc: lol you all probably figured but I'm with Lisa! lol and wasn't it Barbossa who knocked Elizabeth out? lol sorry I can't help saying this stuff it's my nature! lol but wait! Captain Jack comes in the story in a minute! yay! :clap:

Barbossa stood there for a moment compleatly unsure of what they should do. The cures was still apon them and there was nothing he could do at that moment. His crew began fighting with him and blaming him and Joanna for taking them to get the treasure in the first place when he noticed Jack the monkey trying to tell him something. He looked down when Elizabeth had fell when Joanna hit her and she was gone, along with the gold.

"Find the girl." Barbossa ordered his crew. "She's taken the gold." He yelled and watched his crew run around the cave looking for her.

A few moments later he heard one of the crew member yell "The ores have gone missin"

"Find them." Barbossa yelled and began getting more aggravated.

ooc: lol it's like Joanna is Barbossa for some of those parts you know like with what he does in the movie! not that it's a bad thing... OH WAIT! can I come in now? plz plz PLZ!!! lol

ooc: I know barbossasgirl has the whole story planed out and everything but I'm pretty sure this is around where you'd come in.
