"Sure. Thanks," Mystique gave him a grin, resting her hand on her hip when she let go of him, turning her attention back to Anna and Alfie. "And yeah, Lucy told me she's not allowed to play her game anymore, because, and I quote, 'the mean girly boy stoled it,'" She raised an eyebrow.

"He's trying to beat Lucy's highscore." Anna said, not mentioning the fact that she'd spend hours trying to do the same thing. She was a girl, after all, so she was excused.
Logan walked over to the bar, where Jean just turned around with a glass of white wine in her hand. "Hey," Logan ordered a beer, and wine for Mystique, then leaned back against the bar next to where Jean lingered.
"Hey," Jean smiled in response, "Are you having fun?"
"Oh yeah. You know me, party animal." Logan glanced at her from the corner of his eyes, eyebrow raised.
Jean smirked, "I'm glad you came," She told him. "It's good that most of us are here. You know how I had my doubts before, when Mystique's sceptism made me doubt what we were getting ourselves into. But now, being here.. I have a great feeling about this." She grinned.
"Sure startin' to look like you're right," Logan agreed, picking up the drinks from the bar.

"I am not!" Alfie argued. "I just wanted to see if I could run over the cow, you're the one that plays it seriously! .. I don't try to beat Lucy's highscore," He said to Mystique, in an attempt to defend his manliness.
"Yeah? Y'know what? I stopped caring ten minutes ago. Just let Lucy play once in a while. It is her game," Mystique said.
"Right," Alfie said, cheeks reddening with embarrassment. He glanced at Anna. "You want a drink?" He asked as an excuse to get away.

"Red wine please," Anna told Alfie, whilst attempting an apologetic smile for starting this conversation. It ended up looking more like an amused grin though.
"You really think so?" Jean asked Logan, looking at him with a smile.
"You don't needa ask, Jeannie, you already know what I think." Logan told her, pointing a finger at her forehead with a smirk. When the hint of a blush showed on Jean's cheeks, Logan gave her a grin, "I'll catch ya later," He told 'r, before he walked away from the bar. He headed back to where Mystique and Anna were, just as Alfie escaped, and handed over Mystique's wine.

"Thanks, babe," Mystique smiled, her free hand immediately finding his and locking their fingers together. She took a sip of her drink and waited for Alfie to return with Anna's wine and a beer of his own before she gave Anna a slight smile and walked out of the crowd with Logan. "Think they'd notice if we took a snoop around this place?" She asked him quietly, with a grin.

Logan looked at her with a smirk, "The way they secure this place, they're basically challenging us to." He told her.

"They should know better than to challenge us," Mystique smirked, giving his hand a squeeze as they weaved through the crowds. "I think the bathroom is this way," She said, loudly, before dragging Logan down one of the corridors off the main hall.

Logan laughed, "Way to go, that's bound to attract no attention." He said, since now the whole room thought they were sneaking off to the bathroom together. They walked down one of the corridors, and turned right at the end of it - cos by the smell of it people were standing guard on the left. They'd try and find a way around the security without having to knock anyone out, for a change.

They walked up the stairs at the end of the corridor and came up to a large, unguarded metal door. Mystique walked up to the security panel, curiosity getting the better of her, she pulled her hair out of her face and morphed her face to that of the presidents. The panel scanned her eyes and the red light turned green with a quiet bleep. Mystique morphed back and gave Logan a grin, nudging the door open with a grin. Behind was the President's living quarters, a large lounge which opened onto a patio over the gardens where the party was spilling out onto, and off to the left, the door to the president and his wife's bedroom. Mystique let out a low whistle as she walked around the large lounge. "This makes our five star suite in Hawaii look like a hostel for the homeless," She commented, dropping down onto a plush sofa.

Logan pushed the metal door shut behind 'em, so nobody would walk past and notice their li'll break-and-entering. He walked through the lounge, looking 'round, til he came to a stop next to a globe. He cracked it open to reveal the bar inside. He also found a box of Cuban cigars in there. Logan put one between his teeth and fired it up with his own lighter.
