Jack let out an annoyed sound.. "How many times do we have to go over this?? It's captain.. CAPTAIN Sparrow!!" Why couldn't anyone ever get that right?? "And yer wrong love.. About 15 years ago this ship was mine.. Then this slimy traderious maggot marroned me on some god forsaken island and took off wit MY ship.." He gave Barbossa a dirty look.. "Oh yes.. and this was all right after I had just made him me first mate too.." He went on filling in the girl on their past, not because he cared what she thought about them, but to avoid Barbossas question of where the charts are.

Jenna listened to Jack's story very intently. She had a feeling that he was exaggerating. Regardless, she still sided with Captain Barbossa.
There was still one question in her mind though. How had Barbossa managed to survive if Jack had shot him? Needing to figure this out, she interrupted Jack's tale and said, "You actually shot the captain? Then how is he still alive?"

Jack was sort of going on a long rant about the past 15-20 years waving his hands around and over-dramatizing things when the girl interupted him.. "Uuh.. well.." he looked at Barbossa and back at the girl.. "We've got friends in high places, love...!!"

Barbossa opened his jacket and pulled down his shirt revealing a scar over his heart.
"That story will be fer another day", he said. "Now where be the charts?"

Jenna was still a bit confused by all this, but decided it would be best just to start the journey. Crossing her arms, she gave Jack a funny look and said, "Weren't we going to start looking for the fountain now? You said you didn't want to travel with us, so why are we all just hanging around? We'll never set sail at this rate! Why don't you just give the captain the charts and we'll all be happy?"

Jack gave the girl a funny look.. "You don' even know what the fountain IS!!" He crossed his arms just like her.. "And as fer you.." He looked at Barbossa. "I'll give ya the charts as soon as I have me ship back!!"

Jenna frowned; Jack was right. She didn't know what the fountain was. Hating not to know what was going on, she asked, "Well, what exactly is the fountain then?"
And after a moment, she added, "Why don't we all just travel together? That way we can all share the charts and the ship."

Jack gave Barbossa a look as though to say 'Shut up'. "Love, we can't jus' go 'round tellin' everyone about these things.. Sometimes we have to learn when to keep things to our self!!" It was more directed to Barbossa.. Jack was worried he'd tell her everything and god knows who she really was or if they could trust her.

Jenna felt a bit put out by Jack's comment. How was she expected to search for the fountain when she didn't even know what it was?
She quickly retorted to Jack, "I can't help you search for the fountain if I don't know what it is. Besides, you can trust me. I'm staying on the ship with you as soon as we set sail. I'm not going to share your secrets with anyone."
