Astoria looked down at her stomach then back up at Jack and faked a laugh. "Aye.. I'm starved." She said and sat up. "Me stomachs growlin'."

"Hungry, eh?" Jack said. "Well let's get ya some food, then."
He got up and dressed along with Astoria.
"Ya know what the strangest thing is?" he asked. "While I was sleeping, I coulda sworn I felt something pushing my hand."

Astoria raised an eyebrow at him, "Need ta lay off the rum, cap'n." She said and made her way toward town. When Jack wasn't looking she glanced down at her stomach and suddenly felt more scared and alone then she ever had before.

"Ya feeling better, darling?" Jack asked patting her stomach.
He took a bite out of his food and pushed the plate away.

"Aye." She nodded, chewing up the last bit of food she had left. "But I still dunno why we came here for breakfast when we could have just stolen a few apples from the market." She complained.

"Ya want ta be on the run when ya set out on yer own fer the first time?" Jack asked.
He put his hand back on her big belly and started caressing it.
"Besides", he continued. "I thought ya might want ta eat more than just apples."
He pulled his hand back when he felt movement.
"There it is again!"

"Yeah well--" She felt it too.. To distract Jack she jumped and yelled. "Bloody hell.. Did you see that?" She shoved her chair away from the table and looked down. "That had ta be the biggest rat I've ever seen.. 'nd I grew up in Tortuga, mind ye."

"It's gone." Astoria pointed, "ran that way." She grabbed his arm and tried to pull him to his feet. "No big deal. Now c'mon, we got to start gettin' ready."

Jack frowned and looked down.
"Aye, we do", he said.
After leaving the resturant, Jack took Astoria down by the docks to show her all the ships that were there.
"See any ya like?"
