Wrapping her arms around Jack, Astoria whispered in his ear, "No ocean is big enough to keep me away from you forever." She kissed his neck and forced herself to keep her composure. She loved Jack but she had to much pried to cry in front of anyone. She pulled away and kissed him passionately before quickly turning and getting in her dingy.

"Take care of yerself, darling", Jack said. "Take care of yer stomach. Find out where that moving is coming from!"
He waved goodbye to Astoria.

Astoria watched Jack shrink in the distance as tears filled her eyes. Once she got to open sea she broke down over the way she was betraying Jack.
After two months Astoria made it to Tortuga. She was now five months pregnant and her stomach was huge. Walking those once familiar streets was what hurt her the most. She grew up here and the town was worse now then ever. Thieves and pirates and drunkards had overrun the streets. It wasn't long before she decided to get a job in small pub to save up money for her coming child and even rented the room over the pub.
One bleak night Astoria woke up in pain. The owner of the pub was down stairs and heard her cries. He sent his wife and one of the other girls up to help her. After six hours of labor, Astoria gave birth to a tiny baby boy.
It was a still born.
For the next three and a half weeks Astoria stayed in bed recovering from her physical injuries, never leaving her small room once, not even to attend her unnamed child's funeral. Finally when she was better she went to the site where her son was buried. It was a tinny little grave with a makeshift cross as a marker. Feeling as though her son deserved better then that, she took all the money she had saved up and had a real tomb-stone made up for him. When the man asked her what name should be carved into the stone, a tear ran down her face at the realization that she never gave her son a name. It wasn't hard for her to come up with one though. "Dorian Jackie Sp- Sparrow." She told the man.
Astoria spent the next few months contemplating what she wanted to do with the rest of her life and mourning the lost of her child. There wasn't a day that went by that she didn't think of Jack Sparrow but she refused to write to him for many reasons. One being she couldn't lie to him about how she's been spending her life since she last saw him but she surly couldn't tell the truth. Many times she wondered if he found his Black Pearl and put the bullet through Barbossa.
One year after leaving Jack, after many long days and sleepless nights, Astoria finally pulled herself together and went to her small, dirty mirror. She opened up a drawer and pulled out the same knife she used to threaten Jack Sparrow the night they met and used it to cut her long hair off again. Next she went to her armoire and found the clothes she had on when she last saw Jack Sparrow.
Dressed as a man, it didn't take her long to find a ship and a crew. They set sail and soon Astoria became a well known pirate. Wanted signs were hung in many Caribbean towns with the picture of a boy with short black hair and a scar over his right eye. The caption underneath said, "Real name unknown, Goes by Asty". For the most part Astoria laughed at these posters, but many times she would see one hanging right next to a wanted sign for Jack Sparrow. It was moments like that in which she felt close to him again.
When Astoria and her crew docked at Tortuga again, she gave the owner of her old bar a bundle of letters tied up with a silk ribbon. On the top it was addressed to Captain Jack Sparrow.

Failure after failure Jack couldn't get his hands on a fast ship. Here he was in the brig of a navy ship he tried to commandeer. He was sure they were taking him to England to be hanged. Jack wondered how Astoria was. He hasn't heard from her in so long.
Jack was pulled out of his thoughts as he heard canon fire. He looked through the small knothole in the wall seeing another ship. He wondered who it belonged to.

Astoria seen the white sails coming and had her crew prepare the guns. Unfortunately they were low on supplies and most of the crew was weak. Before the fight began, one of the men, someone of high ranking Astoria assumed, yelled to her. "Surrender the ship, Asty and you'll be guaranteed a far trial." He yelled to her. She let out a loud roar of laughter and leaned over the railing to get a good look at the East India Trading Companies ship, "Nay sailor boy, I'll be guaranteed a hanging." She winked at him, just to piss him off even more. "Though before ya start firing those pretty little cannons of yers, I wanted ta thank ye fer this ship." She tapped on the rail. "It's served me well." At that Astoria glanced at one of her crew men and nodded. "Fire!!"
It didn't take long for Astoria's ship to go down. Most of her crew was already killed and she was trying to make it to a long boat herself when she heard an explosion then felt herself sinking into the dark abyss of Davy Jones locker. For a moment she thought she seen someone swimming toward her with beautiful colors behind them, but then everything went black.
