Hello, this is an introduction to the RP thread of Durga's Treasure. It takes place before the first movie and follows our favorite swash bucklers as they hunt for the Tiger Goddess of India's hidden treasure.
My OC:
Name: Maya Rothford aka the Tiger
Age: 23
Appearance: Maya's look is rather exotic, since she is half-Indian. Long black semi-curled hair, pale brown skin and eyes that are almost golden in color. Maya also wears an tiger claw around her neck and is comfortable wearing dresses and corsets as much as she is wearing men's clothing.
Personality: Fiery yet at the same time soft spoken, stubborn and can be aggressive.
History: Maya's father was a Greek merchant who traveled to India, where he met her mother and had her. However, on an trip to Greece when Maya was 13 their ship was attacked and she was taken captive by pirates. She left scratch like scars on the pirate that grabbed her; this and her eye color earned her the nickname the Tiger. Maya lived as a pirate for a decade, her main weapons were actual tiger claws that had been fashioned into an type of brass knuckle that she would slash at her enemies with and an cutlass. However, her ship was attacked and sunk by the Black Pearl, Maya barely escaping with her life. Now, she travels around seeking an new crew that she feels is worthy of her.

Appearance: Small, long brown hair, blue-green eyes, and red lips
Personality: Keeps to herself, is quiet, and kind
Story: Izzy's ship sunk from a leak. All the crew members perished except for her. She caught hold of a loose piece of wood and hopes it will bring her ashore.

Riley O' Barren
Age: 26
Description: A giant of a man, about 6'7” and about 230 pounds a monster of the man with the ferociousness of a mountain lion on a wet summer night. He giants over most of the crew but it a hard working man. He wears no shirt and his muscles bulge and intimate most of everyone that lays eyes on him. He wears a black bandanna with his colors and emblem of the ship he was boarded on placed upon the top of his head, around his neck he wears a skull and crossbones passed down from his pirate father who passed on in a crossfire with the English.. On his lower half, wearing pants that were ripped off into shorts what were are very frayed at the ends of it. Black boots strapped high on his legs cover his feet. Riley's face is very scarred for the many battles that he attended in his lifetime. At the side of his waist lays a cutlass and a holstered musket.
Personality: Riley is a very fierce individual and one not to be messed with. Living a prate life most existence he has the characteristics of a great pirate commander but he is a loyalist to his captain and the rest of the crew. A very courageous individual with the strength of a lion he is able to out stand any of opponents.. His theory is fight to the death just like any good pirates should do. He does take order well but will disobey orders if he does not think that its morale or right for his crew or captain. He is a very fair individual but he will make the judgment calls if need be. He is no fool and is always prepared. He is like a emperor of a ship but keeps in a secret life of a high priest. Sometimes like being a lonely hermit he shines the light for his fellow crew and makes sure he is in charge of keeping his fellow crew members alive and well. He is like a trickster, he knows how to manipulate people and has become very well the tools of his trade.. Riley is a man that you would want on your side and not staring back at you with a loaded musket.
History: Born to a pirate father and a whore of a mother he lived on his fathers ship as a crew member served to a well known sea captain pirate. He learned the act of piracy at a early age and he grew into a very out standing pirate lad. As time progressed his skills honed and he learned new and exciting things on a boat with a pirate family that called him their own. He grew to a very large teenager at of 18 the Captain led the crew into the battle with a English sloop the captain was unaware that there was a second English ship hiding in the distance and the Black Tide the ship that Riley and father was on got flanked by the English and was boarded . In the skirmish aboard Riley's Father fought a brave and outstanding battle with the English but was stricken down with a Cutlass blow to the leg and a musket shot to the heart he was dead in matter of minutes.. This just torn Riley apart and sent him into a rage of furry slashing and blasting every red coat he saw until they were left on the black Tide in pools of blood. To make a point to the English Riley cut every last English Soldiers head clean off with his cutlass and sent them back to England's providence shore in a row boat. Years went by and many more adventures of revenge and brutality Riley became the pirate he is today, picking up more knowledge and skills from around the 7 seas. Until just recently, his old ship was dismantled most of the crew hung for piracy from the English some how Riley managed to escape the clenches of the reds and is now in search of a new crew and captain to set sail with.
Skills: Riley is a very skilled pirate, He is very good with his cutlass and is able to keep up with most of the bashing and slashing of the fights. He can also take command of a ship if he has to knowing the full how-to to man a ship and the life of a pirate.. In his many adventures in the far unexplored lands he picked up the art of Tarot Card reading and divinations seeing in future and being able to read the cards for fellow members of the crew. He also is a sharp shooter with his musket and can place a well placed shot at the enemy..
