Mystique laughed and ran around to the other side of the counter, dodging another spoonful of yoghurt in her direction. She found some pots of chocolate pudding in the fridge and tossed one to Lucy. Mystique smirked and grabbed a handful of the pudding herself, aiming it at Logan and throwing it so it landed splat in the middle of his face before she ducked behind the counter for protection.
Lucy shrieked and climbed on the counter. She stood in front of Logan so she towered over her daddy and put the pot of pudding upside down on his head with a giggle.

Pudding dripping down his face, Logan put the tub of yoghurt on the counter and grabbed Lucy, lifting her up high, using her as a towel to whipe the pudding out of his hair and from his face. Not that it worked, but by the time he put her back on the counter she was as pudding-covered as he was.
With a smirk, Logan put a finger against his lips, telling Lucy to keep quiet before he whispered something in her ear to take care of the only one in the kitchen who wasn't a complete mess yet. A few seconds later, the pot of yoghurt was hurled over the counter and landed on top of Mystique, but before she could even register that, Lucy and Logan dived over the counter, trapping her inbetween the two of them for a messy chocolate and yoghurt blended hug.

Mystique shrieked, lifting her arms to her face to protect herself as she was attacked on both sides. She laughed, glanced to each one of them in turn before putting an arm around Lucy and turning her gaze back to Logan. Their eyes mets. Hell, they were good together. She moved her free hand to the back of his pudding covered hair, pulling his lips to hers for a long, tender kiss.
"YAAAAY!" Lucy squealed, for once not 'ew'-ing and complaining of cooties, because this meant his mummy and daddy were friends again and they'd all be happy again.

At the risk of getting punched, stabbed or mutilated in any other way.. Logan wrapped an arm around Mystique and kissed her back. He smirked slightly underneath their kiss when Lucy started screaming happily the second their lips met. Eventually, when they broke apart again, his ears were ringing, but his heart was pounding like mad. He looked into Mystique's eyes, and couldn't help but smirk at her pudding-covered face, "You got a little somethin' there.." He told her teasingly, whiping one drop of chocolate pudding away from her cheek.

Mystique reached out a hand and held his wrist as he wiped the chocolate pudding away. She moved his hand to her lips and licked the pudding off his thumb, not as a sexual gesture, but silently telling him she was ready to be closer to him. She then moved her hand to the back of his head and pulled his body closer to hers, hugging him tightly. She placed a soft kiss on his ear and whispered, "I'm ready to forgive you,"
At that moment, Charles Xavier rolled into the kitchen, pushed by Jean Gray. "What happened here?" He asked, looking around at the chocolate pudding on the walls and counters, not to mention the couple of the floor, tightly embracing each other while Lucy bounced about grinning at him.

Logan didn't take his eyes off Mystique, so damn relieved to hear her words he half-thought he'd imagined them. Then when she hugged him and he was sure he hadn't, he embraced her back tightly, brushing a kiss on her puddingcovered cheek.
When Xavier and Jean entered the kitchen, Logan kept his arms 'round Mystique firmly. At Xavier's question, he raised an eyebrow slightly and glanced around the messy kitchen as if too see what he was talking about. "..It was like that when we got here." Logan said, ignoring the fact that they were as messy as the kitchen. With a slight smirk he looked back to Mystique. Secretly he wary though, about Jean's presence.. about how Mystique would react to that. Either way, he thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to get out of there, so he took her hand to get up together.

Surprisingly, Mystique wasn't angry at Jean, she didn't hate Jean ... anymore than she did to start with. Jean hadn't done anything Mystique wouldn't have done if there was somebody she wanted particularly badly. Mystique would've been very hypocritical to hold manipulating the male species against her, she was angry at Logan for giving in to her in the first place. She got to her feet when Logan did, ignoring Jean's presence completely, who she did notice - Jean was avoiding looking at either of them two as well. Mystique took Lucy's pudding covered hand with her free hand.
"And Logan," Xavier said as they walked past to leave the kitchen, 'when I told you to do whatever it took to keep the peace, that wasn't what I meant,'

Logan raised an eyebrow at Xavier, smirking slightly. Worked for a while though. He thought, not because he ever seriously considered the affair as a solution, but just to annoy Xavier - so maybe one day he'd learn to mind his own damn business. Logan gave Mystique's hand a squeeze as they walked out, Lucy bouncing on Mystique's side happily.

The three of them left the kitchen and walked up the stairs to Lucy's bedroom. Mystique walked through to the bathroom and knelt by the tub as she started filling it up, dipping her fingers in the water to test the temperature. "Lucy, fetch yourself some clean clothes please," She asked the girl as she bounced out the room to her closet.

"Daaaaaddy, heeelp!" Lucy squealed, bouncing on her bed 'stead of fetching clothes because the dress she wanted to wear was on the top shelf of her closet and she couldn't reach. With a smirk, Logan lifted Lucy off the bed before that was pudding-covered as well, and carried her over to the closet so she could pick her clothes. Which did mean Lucy got pudding stains on some of her clothes before her hands were clean enough to take the dress from the top shelf.
