Jax shrugged, "We might as well lead them to a wrong trail, thinking we are way ahead of them, that way we can circle around them or something" Jax mumbled.
Jane got up when she heard something, she walked over to the window "Oh god... they're here already!" she exclaimed

"...You're kidding." Nicolas said, bolting upright from the sofa (and stumbling immediately when that caused pain to shoot through his side). He made his way over to the window where Jane was, too see for himself.

in the distance, five men on horses were heading towards their direction. "Jax, warn the family" she told him "we should hide"

"They're not that dumb, they're not going to lie for us," Nicolas reasoned. "We should get to the barn, through the back door. They won't be able to see us from there," He nodded out of the window. "Then, while they're inside here, we make a break for it. It's our best chance."

Agnes entered the room again, she had been out of the way when she had heard all of the commotion and decided it would be better to keep back.

Cecelia followed closely after Agnes, and caught the last part of that conversation. "So which one are we going to do?" She asked, worry in her voice.

Jax walked over to the window, he saw four men on horses. If they were going to search the house, as he expected them to, he would know a good way to get rid of them for good...
"Ya'll go to the horses, I've got a plan."
