Devyn twisted her mouth around from side to side as she tried to figure out if she really wanted to purchase the necklace. She fished the money from her pocket, tossing the coins up and down in her hands.
"Alright..."
She spoke slowly, not noticing the flirty smiles passed between Linda and Abel.
"I'll take it. But it better fuckin' work."
She handed over the coins to the woman and took the necklace in return.
Abel smiled wickedly as Linda smiled flirtatiously at him. He felt his throat clench up for a moment, but he got rid of it fast so he wouldn't look like an idiot in front of her.
"Well, I can protect the house just fine, of course. The necklace is just back up."
