Alex watched him leave, trying to think of the lies she could come up with to explain what he'd seen later, but it had been pretty damn obvious what was going on. She dared to look at Luke, who was steaming, but obviously put off by Thomas's appearance. At least he wouldn't want her anymore.
"Hey, sorry about disappearing on you earlier, I just had to.--- are you alright?" Mr. Brown asked Thomas as he walked over to him as he sat at the bar, drinking.
He looked over at him, cleared his throat and tried to act like he had not just witness Alex with Luke.
"Yeah, sorry...rough day at work, but this is a great party!" he grinned. "Lots of important guests"
"Such as yourself" Mr. Brown smiled and ordered a drink, sat down beside Thomas and soon they were talking business.
"Luke, we can't--" Alex started, but was cut off just as quick.
"Shut the fuck up. Get out there. Don't act like nothin's wrong." Luke warned her, his eyes narrowing, "Nothing is wrong, understand?"
Alex just nodded, moving past him and sashaying her way out the door. She steered clear of Thomas for the rest of the night, but she knew she would eventually have to ride back with him.
Thomas spent most of the evening chatting with Mr. Brown and drinking by the bar, knowing of course he had to drive back, but right now it didn't bother him...he still hadn't been drinking enough to get Alex and Luke out of his head..
Alex avoided Luke and Thomas both like the men were plagues, and really they both were awfully bad for her health. When the party started to wind down, she realized she was completely sober and completely alone-- not a person to talk to. "Damnit..." She headed out to the front into the night air to wait for Thomas, whenever he'd come to get the car. She didn't rush him, the aloneness wasn't so bad.
It took at least 2 more hours until Thomas came to get the car, he was drunk and swayed his way over to the car but got stopped by a guard;
"Sorry, Sir, you'll have to take a cab. You're too intoxicated"
"Me?! Hey, D'you know who I am?!" Thomas slurred loudly. "It's my fuckin' caaar!"
"Well, it will stay safe here, Mr. Brown assures you. It's too pretty to be crashed into a tree anyway"
Thomas tried to focus on the man. "Right...I guess you're right" He patted him on his shoulder. "You're a good man"
"I'll call a cab for you right now, Mr....?"
"Bradley..Thomas fucking Bradley, but hey, I was here with a girl, where's she?" he looked around, drunk and confused.
"I don't know, Sir, but wait right here.." he dialled the number to a cab company. "Yes, Hi, I need a cab.."
As he spoke, Thomas looked around confused. "Alex...that was her name...or is..she's still alive..." he talked to himself
Alex heard the sounds of two people talking and it didn't take her long to wander that way. Her dress was a bit dirty from sitting on the curb for so long, but she narrowed in on Thomas and his obvious drunkenness. "Ugh..." She figured it was better, then he might not remember what he'd seen. "I'll take him home." She told the man that was calling a cab. "I'm sober--" She turned on Thomas, "Keys." She ordered, hand outstretched.
"I remember." Alex shook her head, nodding to the man that had called the cab. She strutted her way over to the car, getting in the driver's side this time, skipping the little fact that she honestly had no idea how to drive.
Thomas let out a sigh, said Bye to the man and got into the car on the passengers side. "I promise you don't know where to go" he slurred to Alex
Alex raised a brow, "Well, then how about you direct me, asshole?" She was in absolutely no mood for this. She slowly put the car in reverse, backing up very slowly. In a city like LA, she'd never had to deal with driving anywhere, it was always done for her, so learning had seemed silly at the time. She was only twenty-- driving hadn't been necessary.
"Alright, you turn left...left...then straight ahead...---" he started without her even out of the parkinglot
"Wait a damn minute, would you?" Alex struggled with the controls of the car, but eventually it jerked forward and they headed out of the parking lot. She looked over at him for a brief moment. "You really have to drink so much?"
"ooooh yes...." he smirked when he remembered why he had been drinking that much this evening..
"Tonight was one of those nights"
"Tell me about it."
Alex mumbled under her breath, just hoping tomorrow he wouldn't remember what he'd seen and she could blame it all on his imagination-- his peverted imagination. She pulled up to the warehouse with a jerky halt, putting the car in park, "Get out, you're home." She had every intention of taking the Mercedes back to her own, new apartment he'd given her.
He mumbles something in his drunken state and got out of the car, thinking she would get out aswell
The moment he'd shut the door, Alex pulled away from the curb, leaving him there and taking his nice ass Mercedes with her.
Next morning, Thomas was sitting by his desk with a huge bottle of coca cola (I know it's called coke in the US, but it sounds wrong in this rp ;D) and cans of energy drinks. He was pissed off, mainly cause his Mercedes was gone but also cause he remembered why he had been drinking that much last night. And therefor he also cursed himself for ever being attracted to Alex, since he was sure that she liked getting fucked by Luke...
Alex pulled up with a screeching halt to the warehouse that Thomas lived in, the front of the Mercedes dented in pretty badly. She didn't seem to care as she stepped out, wearing a mini-skirt and tanktop. She shut the door and then headed inside, twirling the keys on her finger.
He was gonna yell at her for not knocking before entering, but when he saw her twirling the key to his car, he got up.
"Why the fuck did you take my car, you bitch!?"
"Well, I wasn't going to walk home dressed to the nines in the middle of the fuckin' night." Alex through the keys at him, figuring he'd catch them, "She might be a bit dinged up." Again, she was under the impression he wouldn't lay a hand on her because she was off limits-- he couldn't hurt her and she loved the feeling.
He stared at her, then rushed past her outside and only some seconds later a loud:"WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU DONE?!" was heard. Some other members of NR showed up, wondering what was up. Thomas was on his knees inspecting the dent on his car in schock...
"Uh oh..he just wrecked his Mercedes?" someone said, and Thomas heard it.
"No...." he said angrily through his teeth. "Not me..."
He got up, clenching his fists, his eyes burning with anger as he walked back inside to Alex..
"Hey, sorry about disappearing on you earlier, I just had to.--- are you alright?" Mr. Brown asked Thomas as he walked over to him as he sat at the bar, drinking.
