Her smile faded and she narrowed her eyes. "To from an alliance with Captain Barbossa." She paused. "That's all." She looked over at the Captain, ignoring Valeria almost completly.

Valeria sighed, running a hand through her hair. As long as she didn't interfere with what was forming between her and the captain, the woman could do whatever she wanted.

"What is it that you want?" Barbossa demanded, walking up to the railing.
"Like I told you, to form an alliance with you...Captain." She held up Jack's compass, letting it dangle. "As you know, I have required Jack's compass. Which you need."
Barbossa narrowed his eyes in suspicion. "Aye that be true. What of it?"
"Well...I could lead you to the Chest of Calypso. Since I am sure you're after it as well are you not?" She clipped the compass back on her belt.
Barbossa was silent, thoughtful. "And you can take us there?"
Starry smiled. "Aye. With Jack's wonderful little compass." She paused. "So. Do we have an acorred?"
Again Barbossa was thoughtful but then he looked up at Starry. "Agreed..."

So they wanted to find the chest. Was it possible to share it? Perhaps it was. Valeria just wanted to see what kind of power the chest actually contained, not for herself of course.

Finally Starry looked over at Valeria, narrowing her eyes. "And just what is one such as...yourself...is doing in our world?" She looked her up and down with distaste. "You are no pirate."
Continuation...? I was thinking that if we play this out so that someone actually gets the power of Calypso we could do a continuation here?

Starry just stared at Valeria for a moment before turning away. "Sure." She said, waving a hand. "You do realize books exaurate everything don't you?" She didn't wait for a reply and instead began barking out orders to her crew.

"Ugh, whatever..." Valeria sighed, wondering what would happen now. Their moment was ruined... Perhaps she would get another chance to be alone with the captain later that night, if she was lucky of course.

Starry smiled and stood at the front of her ship, the golden mermaid glinting in the sun. So far her plan was going perfectly, and hopefully she would get a chance to kill Beckett and get the Chest of Calypso after securing someone to get it first and take the curse. And, since Barbossa was used to being cursed, she figured he would make the perfect person to do it. She leaned on the railing, pleased...and so far, no Jack.
