I blink at him. "I'm a little short on the specifics here. . .well, have you heard anything recently that could be considered formidable? Any sort of danger? Something's wrong!" I repeat. I'm not sure whether I'm more excited about my gift popping up seemingly out of the blue, or that strange feeling I had.

"Told you it'd be bad luck ter have a woman aboard." Gibbs grumbles from behind Jacks back.
I pay no notion to his comment. My gaze rests on Rae's eyes, quite curiously. "What informs you of said notification, luv?" I ask carefully. Because if this is her sixth sense popping up again.. I doubt I will doubt her words. Ah yes, I've long learnt to trust her judgement when it comes to that. Still, her words ring in my mind. Any sort of danger? The bad weather treatening, maybe? How dangerous is that considered to be? I turn the ring on my indexfinger with the thumb of the same hand as I think about it.

"It's back." I whisper, narrowing my eyes, looking for some sort of recognition in his eyes. But something makes me turn my head to the side. . .and moments later, a crack of thunder and lightning resounds through the ship.

As the thunder strikes not all that far away, my gaze darts up to the skies warily. Instead of greyish sky, I can see the pitchblack clouds moving towards eachother in a gloomy slow pace. The wheater seems to have collapsed into this new state almost instantly.. almost not naturally. A second flash of lightening illimunates the sky, and the thunder follows straight after. "Captain?" Mister Gibbs eyes the skies with a worried look on his face. "...Get all the men updecks, Mister Gibbs. And don't hesitate to hurry about it." I order.
Within a few minutes there's a sudden fuss all aboard the ship. Men are running about to their places, and I leap up two steps towards the helm. I stop there though, spin on my heels, and glance down to Rae who's still at the bottom of the stairs. "Brace yerselves." I order, "Don't go anywhere near the railing. Savvy?"

". . ." I want to ask him if he'll be alright, but that's out of my hands. And I'm sure he's seen many, many storms before, but still there is something gnawing at the inside of me that is worrisome. This is one of the many times I hate to let him out of my sight, even though I'm powerless to do anything if something were to go wrong. And even though it pains me, I hole myself up in the cabin, not sure what to expect.

As the storm bursts lose in all its fury about an hour later, I am at the helm. The rain beats down as if the skies opened up above us. My coat is in the cabin, so I'm instantly soaked thoroughly.. My grip on the wheel doesn't lose its tension a single second though.
Though sight is bad, I scan the decks for Rae's figure and I'm relieved not to see her there. I wouldn't send her to me cabin for the sake of keeping her safe (that's her worries, not mine, I figure). But it sure as hell is a comforting thought to know she figured that much by herselves.
So I set my attention to the raging storm, shouting the orders to reef the sails at the top of my lungs so I won't be oversounded by the roar of Nature itself. Things are only just beginning though.. it takes another hour before the storm is at its peak - the waves smashing the Pearl about roughly, and all of us fighting to overcome it..

Curled up in the corner of Jack's bunk, arms around knees, I begin to feel a bit like a few months ago. . .helpless, small, and fragile. I can hear the shouts of men drowned out by the storm, feel the bottomless dropping and rolling of the Pearl. Don't worry, child, your captain'll pull through. . .he's handled a storm or two. That small whispery instinct had whistled through my head again, a bit unsettling. . .the only thing I haven't missed.

Im out on decks, not caring at all for the weather. I get on with my work, Im pulling on a few ropes to keep some equipment steady as the wind blows heavily upon us. Terrible storm, this one.. havnt seen one like it in years.. well.. mostly due to the fact I havnt sailed in years untill I re-joint this crew.. I glance over at Jack as he yells a few orders to the others. There was a time he forced me to go inside on nights like this. He wouldnt give a care in the world about me now. And to be honest, it dosnt bother me at all. As far as im concerned *I* broke up with *him*. He was lousey in the first place. And he dosnt deserve me. hah.

At one point, a sudden snap attracts my attention. It's a bleedin' miracle that I can hear the sound above the roaring storm, but somehow I do. My gaze darts over to the mast, and I notice one of the sails has come loose from the yard. The canvas beats wildly and uncontrolable in the wind. And due to this sail, the wind suddenly gets a grip on the Pearl more fiercily than before. "Bloody hell." I grumble under my breath. As the wind tugs at the ship and the wheel nearly jerks free from my hands, I strain my muscles to keep it in place. I can hear the whole ship creaking dangerously.. which I must admit to be slightly unsettling.
"CUT IT LOOSE!" I yell at the top of my lungs. "GET THAT CANVAS DOWN!" The men hesitate though.. none very willing to climb the mast in such dangerous conditions. My eyes dart over to Cassandra. Do it. If anyone could..

"Aye Captain!" I yell and rush over to where im needed, immediatly climbing up with dagger in my mouth to cut it down with.. It takes alot of effort but I manage it, climbing back down to finish off getting through some smaller ropes that hold it to the mast. My foot nearly slips but im able to gain my balance again. Luckily.
