He nodded at the security men who was there already and he locked the car, grabbed his skateboard and walked towards the part of the park where it was easiest to skateboard. He looked around, didn't see anyone he recognized.

Rose followed after him, sitting on one of the benches facing the skate park. She pulled out her phone and answered the text message now that Embry wasn't looking over her shoulder.

He wasn't the only one doing skateboard tricks. He watched some other guys, especially a girl, before he started speeding up his skateboard, doing some tricks on his own, loving the freedom he felt by it. He kept looking at the girl to and from though, but since she was with two guys, it would be a bad idea to start a conversation...and besides...maybe she was a crazy fangirl that would smother him before he even said 'Hello'...

Rose was still texting when a boy with his board sat on the bench beside her.
"I've seen you before."
Rose raised a brow, looking over at him, "Yeah?"
"Yep, you're Thomas Bradley's kid, right? I heard you lived in LA, didn't figure you'd end up sitting on a bench in a skate park. Makes you kind cooler than I thought you'd be."

Being busy with his tricks on the board and keeping an eye on the girl, he didn't notice the boy who had started talking to his sister. Embry tried to be smooth by slowly moving closer and closer to the girl, feeling somewhat of a relief when the two boys she was with went to the shop nearby. She's fucking beautiful! I need to at least say Hi While his mind was racing through different phrases he could use, he heard his own voice saying: "Cool board, I used to have one like that...different color though" Oh great....
The girl stopped doing her tricks and looked up at him. She recognised his face but couldn't place it... "Okay...?"
"Have you eeh...been doing tricks for long?"
She rolled her eyes; "Isn't it kinda obvious that I haven't?"
"...well...I think you're doing pretty good! Hey, have you tried this one?" he made a trick with his board. The girl sighed, rolled her eyes and said; "I gotta go.....loser.." she said the last part under her breath, but Embry heard it and as she turned her back to him and walked away, he gave her the finger

Rose would have normally just tried to get away after the mention of her father, but since he'd called her cool, she couldn't help but be a little interested. He had piercings all over his face, long brown, dirty hair hanging in his face. But he was cute underneath the greasy look he had going. Rose couldn't help that she found those kind of boys cute, her whole life she'd been around her brother and father and they both tried out that emo sort of thing. "Well, thanks I guess..."
"Yeah, you're pretty too." He went right along with the conversation. "I used to have this major crush on your mom when I was a kid." He snorted, "Kinda weird to like meet you..." He paused, "Oh, I'm Ryan." He held out his hand.
Rose smirked and reached her own hand out to put it in his, letting him shake her hand. "I'm Rose, but I guess you probably knew that."

Embry turned around, just to see Rose shaking hands with a boy. He walked over, but didn't want to be that type of brother who chased away the guys that talked to his sister, so instead he just said; "Hey, Rose, do you want a soda? I'm getting some" he quickly gave the boy a look but didn't greet him

Rose looked away from Ryan and toward Embry when he came over, "Nah, I've already had one today. Embry, this is Ryan." She introduced politely, "He skates too... I mean, I assume with the board."
Ryan smirked at her, "Yeah, I'm getting really good." He turned toward Embry and nodded his head, "You look just like Thomas Bradley, I mean of course you would." He didn't hold out his hand to Embry, really just having done that for Rose's sake-- girls liked that sort of thing.

"Yeah...well I'm just gonna grab a soda, I'll be back" He wasn't the best at socializing, and the reason to why he was single was cause of what just had happened with the girl with the skateboard...he just didn't seem to be able to say the proper or right things, which lead him to just say a few words sometimes, knowing he came off pretty nonchalant because of it. He rolled with his skateboard over to the store, not greeting the girl who stood in line to get some soda aswell. It was the same girl as before. Embry looked down at his feet, letting his hair cover half of his face

Ryan raised a brow when the guy didn't say anything as an indication that they'd even met. He'd heard plenty about Thomas Bradley before that he was a jerk, so he wasn't too surprised that his son would be that way too. He shook his head and looked back at Rose, "So what are you doing tonight?"
Rose looked surprised, "Umm, nothing really. We just were here at the skate park until it got dark."
"Dark is the best time." Ryan grinned, "Well, you could come over to my friend's place. He's having this party... fun stuff. He's like pretty rich, so the place is cool, it has a pool and his parents are gone, so yeah... kinda free reign of the place for all of us. It'd be cool if you came."
