A Million Little Pieces
"It's broken beyond repair. It's in a million little pieces."

Rated 'R' because of sensitive subjects such as drugs and strong language.

College life is tough, and it's getting tougher everyday. It has its perks and fun, but Senior year is coming around and it's crunch time-- graduate or get kicked out. The stress, the studying, the grades, the parties, the relationships, the friendships are all whirling together and some people need a way out...

Three friends are entering their last year of College at Hampton University in Virginia. They've been friends for a while now and they bought an apartment at the start of the year to share together, each paying equal rent. None of them have the same majors, but each is having a tough year, and now the stress of mid semester exams are coming up. When one of them starts to act oddly, the others find out what's behind it.... drugs. They're all influenced into a complicated drug world from there, where grades start to drop and addictions start to rise.

Behind the pretty buildings of Hampton University there's a danger lurking and if you can't stay out of it, you're bound to get broken beyond repair-- into a million little pieces.

Name: Faye Valentine Turner
Age: 22
Appearance: She has a whole number of tattoos covering her body, as well as lots of ear piercings and a nose piercing.

Faye was born and raised in California, all the way across the US from Virginia. Her parents were wealthy and still are, but they never paid her much attention so she grew up as an outsider and rebel. She barely got along with anyone at school and she was considered quite crazy with being all creative and artsy. She's fascinated with taking odd pictures and so, since Hampton University was one of the best places for photographer majors, she had her parents pay her tuition to go there. And so for the last 4 years she's been living it up at Hampton where she's actually met friends she enjoys spending time with. She's always the life of parties and she is always going to all of them, but her latest ex-boyfriend started her on snorting cocaine and she hasn't been able to stop the habit since she broke up with him, although she's doing her best to hide it from her roomates.

Name: Blake Conner
Age: 22
Appereance:
Is mostly never without his black cap or his I-pod with big headphones. He's a 'hardrocker' who likes black clothing and heavy boots. His clothing is important to him.
Story:
He was born in Virginia and still lives there as he attends the Hampton University. Both his parents died when he was 10 and he got to live with his aunt and uncle.
As a teenager he was troublesome and his aunt wanted to take him to a psychiatrist cause he refused to talk to her or her husband and she was sure everything had to do with the death of his parents and the lack of him talking about his emotions. It never got defined though, but most likely it had something to do with it since it did affect his young mind.
In highschool he started to calm down more though and now when he's in college, his troublesome times feels left behind. He rarely talks about his parents or his feelings still though, listening to music and play guitar always helped him more than speaking about his problems.
He's good friend with his flat-mates Faye and Sarah, eventhough he dislike that they're both so into photographing since sometimes he becomes a victim of their cameras. He doesn't like to be in pictures, but mostly Sarah snaps pictures of him just to tease him at times. There are always some in the college that thinks he's a freak, but he tries not to let it get to him as they shout things after him in corridores at times.
Eventhough drugs flows around a lot, he has never fallen into it. Actually never even tried, though he is a heavy smoker of cigarettes.
His major is music, since that has stuck with him from his youth. He always had a guitar at hand and figured he might aswell continue with it at college when he saw that they had music as major there, with concentration on guitar.
He has a hardrock-band called 'Crimson' that him and some of his classmates started 6 months ago and he's the lead-guitarist and background-singer in it. They're only playing covers (from various hardrock-screaming-bands ) but he hopes that soon they will start with their own material.

Name: Sarah Amburg
Age: 22
Appearance: very skinny 'cause of anorexia; loves changing her appearance - especially hair-colour.
Background: she was born in a prosperous family, in London. As a child and as a teenager, she was very sociable, cheerful and easy-going. Always surrounded by friends, always at the top of her class at school with the highest grades - everything seemed to be perfect. Though, this "ideal life" didn't last forever. When she turned 19, something changed, and this change was quite drastic. From an extraverted girl she turned into a reserved, closed one, who lived in her own world and let no one inside. She shared her thoughts with her friends no more and slowly she lost almost all of them. Her depressions seemed to be never-ending, she hid in her shell and let no one interfere, having become quite snappy and bitter. Her parents noticed the change and took her to a psychiatrist, which didn't help. On the contrary, it just worsened the situation. Gradually, the reason of the change became obvious: drugs. Everything started with just a joint smoken during one of the parties, but slowly the addiction got ahold of her and gragged her down. Her parents blamed everything on her new gang and decided to send her away from home, away from her 'friends' that had a bad infuence on her.
In Virginia, though, nothing stopped and nothing changed. Sending her away was a bad idea, since in the beginning she was quite lonely and all to herself in a new environment, she had no one to watch over her, no one to control her, and her life went downhill even more. In addition to drugs, she developed an eating-disorder. So, in the end, she's having both addictions: drugs and anorexia, but she's in denial. Sometimes when she's high on drugs she pretends to be just drunk; and what concerns her ED - she's trying to hide it, replying to anyone who asks that she's just naturally skinny.
She's good at writing and is also obsessed with photography, she even wanted to take it as her major, but then changed her mind all of a sudden.
Her major is literature.
