Will has been falsely accused of killing someone, and all evidence points to him as being the killer with on one having seen you have to go by facts right? Now he's got Lord Beckett looking for him. Will, with no one else to turn to, goes to Elizabeth for help. She's the only one who knows where he was that night, but if she speaks up she'll be putting her own life in danger...
Let's just say this is at the begining for the second movie but the storyline is different.
