When five high school students, Andrew, John, Allison, Brian, and Claire, meet in detention one day. The principal wants them to write an essay, and they think they are in for a boring 8 hours of doing nothing. At first, they argue and hate each other, but after smoking some marijuana, they pour their hearts out to each other, and tell about their fears, secrets, and their deepest emotions, and problems…
What happens the Monday after? Do they become friends? Or do they go about their lives as usual?
But, what happens when a mysterious new student, with a weird fashion sense, appears in the school. Who is she? Where did she come from? How the hell does she have the money to PRINT OUT her homework? The student is from the future … The world inside the student's house is normal of that of one from the future, but, when stepping out of the house the world becomes 1984 …
