Alexandra Damian is a good student who prefers being in her dorm and do the homeworks she should instead of going to parties as most students at University. She's considered a 'semi-geek' among a lot of classmates but she studies hard to become what she wants to; A vet.
Thomas Bradley is a smart student, but has the wrong attitude. He's considered a 'rich brat' and he knows that teachers and other people in school is asslicking him because he's got rich parents, so he can mostly get away with anything in school...except for this one class; History. He's failing and this time he can't be lazy and cheat or manipulate people around him to pass it anyway, so his proffesor picks out his best student in an attempt to tutor him in history class; Alexandra

Thomas parents, Sarah Bradley and Victor Bradley, are both working 24/7 as CEO's (Chief executive officers) at two of the biggest computer companies in the United States, which makes the Bradley Family very rich. But Thomas doesn't like to talk or brag about it, but neither does he pretend they aren't rich;
He's the only child, with lots of expectations from his family and now he's a freshman at University of South Carolina where he's studying economics, ready to go in his family's footsteps of having his own business company one day.
Because his parents are very well-known, the teachers mostly looks through their fingers at what Thomas does in school, meaning if he 'forgot to study' or something similar, they're 'okey with it' and he mostly gets away with anything, sometimes a 'friendly warning'.
Just because he's rich doesn't mean he's too well-behaved though, he knows that people lick his ass and that he's got benefits and he uses it to his advantage and he doesn't like to follow all rules, why when you can be lazy and bend them slightly?
He's loved; the most popular guy among most girls in school (he can 'pick and choose')
He's hated; some teachers (as well as a lot of students) aren't asslickers and dislikes his attitude at times ('rich brat')
