[glow=red,2,300]This is a Gilbert Grape based rp and I really really need a Gilbert Grape![/glow]
In the little town Endorra nothing exiting every happens. That is exactly what Gilbert and Nikki (Nikita) think and experience in the town they've been living in pretty much all their life. Gilbert and Nikki became friends when Nikki moved into town at age twelve. They went to the same high school and spend as much time together as they good, grewing fond of eachother, depending on eachother in what seemed to be their fight against the boring town and old people in it.
Nikki knows all about Gilbert's family, his brother Arnie, the condition of his mother and how Gilbert struggles to take care of the family.
Now five years later, (Nikki -17 and Gilbert - 18) the time has come for Nikki to leave the town, and Gilbert. She's going off to college, to start a real life for herself.. Gilbert is staying behind, taking care of his family and especially Arnie, working in the shop and going through what he goes through in the movie
Three years later Nikki (almost a graduate and off to university) comes back to town and meets Gilbert again. She hears about the girl he met during the three years she was gone, about what happened to his mother and about his plans of going off to college himself...
What will happen in their friend/relationship ? What will happen when Gilbert brings Arnie to the bigger city so he can still take care of him while studying ?

so basically I want to start this rp in the period right before Nikki leaves, having to tell Gilbert and his family and all.
And then timeskip to three years later, when the times right

Background: Nikki was born in -name american place near Endorra but which is bigger-, her parents moved to Endorra when she was twelve. She totally hated the place because it was dull. When she met Gilbert her ideas about the town lighted up a little. She found a buddy, a friend and maybe even more then that.
She's a fun girl, open and honest and she cares a lot about Gilbert, Arnie and the rest of his family. She's friends with Gilberts older sister aswel.
