"Elizabeth! Wait!" Will choked, shaking his head to clear his blurring vision. What was wrong with him? "You mean you don't...then why did you kiss...him?" he caught up with her and was really close to putting his arms around her...but he didn't. I need her just as much as she needs me!
Suddenly he said. "Are you hot Lizzy?" Oops! Why did I say that? He wondered. Something must be wrong with me!

Elizabeth wiped her tears away and turned to face Will, "I kissed Jack to keep the Karken from eating everyone one! I wouldn't have done it if I didn't have to," then it occured to Elizabeth, "You thought I loved him didn't you?" Elizabeth couldn't believe this. Elizabeth was so nervous it started to get hot "Yes I do feel a bit warm," but before Will could say anything, she turned and started walking again, why? Why would he doubt her, she supposed he just didn't love her or know her enough.

Will felt a lot more the 'a little warm' but he didn't say anything. He swallowed, hard. He hated seeing her so sad. He hated knowing he was probably making her sad. She can't love Jack she just can't!! He quickly walked over to her and put his right arm around her, she felt cool to him. He would have picked her up too but he sudden'y felt too weak. "I love you, always have." he sniffed. "And always will."

Elizabeth felt so much confort in his arms, she hear what he said, "I love you to, I've loved you since I first met you and until they day I die," Elizabeth whispered to him. Elizabeth turned to face him, she touched his cheek... it was extremely warm! Not warm... more like hot! "Will are you alright?" Elizabeth asked with concern.

Will closed his eyes, Elizabeth cool hand felt so good on his hot skin. And hearing her say she still loved him made his heart beat faster. But he opened his eyes when she asked him if he was aright. "I'm..." he looked at the ground. He didn't want to worry she but he felt pretty bad. His back hurt a lot too. "I'm...I don't know."

Elizabeth panicked! Will had a fever, it might had been caused by the opened cuts on his back! "Will can you walk?" but Elizabeth didn't wait for an answer, she helped him back to the cot and layed him down. "Will stay awake, do you hear me," Elizabeth kissed him on the lips and she rushed to the shore. Elizabeth tore a piece of her dress, then soaked it on the cool sea water, then she ran back to Will with the cloth. Elizabeth gently put it on his forehead, whispering to Will, "Please stay with me, don't leave me, you can't leave me!" Elizabeth whispered desprately to him.

Will closed his hazel eyes, breathing heavily. She kissed him! But he'd been too weak to say anything. When Elizabeth got back she put a cool cloth on his forhead.
"I... 'Lizbeth." he reached up and brushed a strand of her pretty hair out of her face. "I love you..." he managed to say with much effort. "I forgive you for kissing Jack...I should have known you don't love him." Will let his hand fall back on the cot, too weak to hold it up any longer. "I...my back hurts..." he said before closing his eyes again. And I love you!

Elizabeth let new tears roll down her cheeks, she wasn't going to let him die, "Will I promise I'm not going to let you die," Elizabeth whispered to him, "Now I'm going to turn you on your back so I can heal your wounds," With out futher ado, she turned him on his back and took off his shirt, the wounds were deep no wonder he got a fever. Elizabeth took the wet cloth and started cleaning all the blood off, she knew it would sting but there was no other way. After Elizabeth cleaned off the blood, Elizabeth remember Tia telling her she had bandages in the house. Elizabeth opened the door and search for them, she found them and began to rap them around Will's back. Elizabeth once more layed Will on his back, she went in once more into the house to retrieve a bowl and ran back to the shore collected water and ran ~with out spilling water~ to Will. She soaked a spare bandage and soaked it in water, once more plancing it on Will's forhead. "You'll be fine I promise, you have to be fine!" Elizabeth whispered to him, kissing him on the cheek.

Will whimpered, as Elizabeth cleaned his wounds. But he knew it was nessary, and he knew Elizabeth wasn't trying to hurt him. After she finished and left again his back started feeling better rather fast. But he still felt like he couldn't breath. And HOT, really really HOT!!
When Elizabeth came back kissing him and placing a cool cloth on him Will relaxed, she kept telling him he'd be alright. And he wanted to be, but would his body comply? He reached up and pulled Elizabeth closing to him. Will needed to know she wouldn't leave, he needed her to comfort him. "Liz....Lizzy." he looked into her eyes. "Promise me you'll stay here...with me."

Elizabeth was so close to Will their nose were almost touching. "I promise I'll stay with you," Elizabeth's lips touched his for a few moments, and rised again, "You'll be alright Will, I promise, I'll do whatever I can," Elizabeth said as she stroked his cheek tears falling from her eyes, so much guilt fell over her. First Jack's death, and now Will falling ill, he couldn't die she wouldn't bare it!
