Will cryed for a long time, until his eyes were too dry to shed another tear. His was still facing the wall and he had no idea Elizabeth was gone. The time pasted without his knowledge. Eventually Will began to relax, not because he felt any better (at least not emotionally anyway) but because his body was so utterly spent. Even though he was exhausted beyond anything he'd ever experienced before the need for water was so great that he turned over. He had to get some. Then he realized Elizabeth must have left him some, he quickly gulped it all down. After that he felt some better.
"Elizabeth?" Will called softly, he scanned the little room but Elizabeth wasn't in it. He began panicking until he saw the letter. Will picked it up carefully. What he read nearly broke his heart, especially the last part where Elizabeth had scratched out the word love. What have I done? He wondered, bursting into tears once again. But try as he might Will could think of nothing that he'd said that should have hurt her. His mind was blank, it was getting dark outside as well. "What have I done?" Will sobbed out loud. The worse part of it was he couldn't remember anything. Unless she really does loves Jack... "Oh Elizabeth..." Will cryed himself to sleep, clutching Elizabeth's little letter tightly against his chest.

Elizabeth walked around, sword clutched tightly in her right hand. Elizabeth mind wondered on so many things. The top thing was did Will stop loving her. Everytime it came up it was like stabbing herself in her heart. It was getting pretty late, Elizabeth made her way back. One her way back it started to rain... pouring rain! Elizabeth ran back to Tia's house. Elizabeth entered as quietly as she could, she found Will sleeping. She dried her hands and touched his forehead, it was almost back to normal. Elizabeth knew she couldn't go out there in the pouring rain... she'd have to wait. Elizabeth sat in the chair next to the window. Some how the rain managed to relax her... as always... and make her fall asleep.

Will awoke to the sound of rain pouring down on the roof. He didn't feel nearly as hot as he had, but he still felt...like he'd just got his heart broken. Then Will felt the crumpled up paper in his hand. The letter! Where was Elizabeth? She couldn't have stayed outside in the rain. He looked over at the other side of the room. Elizabeth was sitting in the chair by the window! Asleep as far as Will could tell. Will got up and carefully walked over to her, she was beautful! He caught his breath. Will swallowed nerviously, he was afraid of waking her up but he had to know why she'd left. She promised me she'd stay here with me, and she left, why? Will tenderly put his hand on Elizabeth's shoulder. "Elizabeth?" Will shook her gently, timidly. All he wanted to do was hold her in his arms, he knew she was sad for some reason. And he wanted comfort too. "Elizabeth please wake up."

Elizabeth was having a dream... she was swimming in the a deep lake. It was cool water, it relaxed her tense body. Elizabeth very relaxed in her dream, felt a tug on her left foot. Elizabeth tried to swim away, but what ever had a hold of her was dragging her down into the water. Elizabeth couldn't breath in her dream and neither in really life... she was suffacating. In Elizabeth's dream, the ghost of Jack was pulling her down. "Sorry luv," Jack would say to her, "You did me a favor and now I'm returin' the favor," Elizabeth would try to swim up but Jack had a very good grip! In reality Elizabeth couldn't breath at all. Elizabeth was gasping for air but it was like she couldn't take any!

When Elizabeth didn't wake up Will panicked. She wasn't breathing normally neither. "Elizabeth!" Will yelled, shaking her harder. When she still didn't wake up he realized she was probably dreaming...Like I dreaming... He narrowed his eyes. Well if he didn't do something soon Elizabeth was going to suffocate! Will's heart was pounding in his ears, his physical weakness momentarily forgotten. His eyes fantically searched the room for something...Will grabbed the bowl of cool water Elizabeth had left for him and dumped the whole thing over her head. If that didn't wake her up nothing would! "Elizabeth, snap out of it!" Will pleaded loudly, shaking her roughly.

Elizabeth felt herself come back to reality, she fell of the chair and started choking. Elizabeth's breathing went back to normal. Elizabeth wasn't sure where she was when it came flooding back, she also knew that Jack will haunt her forever until she tells someone her guilt or brings him back to life. Elizabeth stood up, she had trouble gaining balence at first then she strightened up. Elizabeth saw Will and realized he saved her. Very shy, Elizabeth said, "Thanks, for saving me," Elizabeth remember that Will had told her to leave. "I have to go," Elizabeth said timidly. Elizabeth could see it was still pouring rain and it seemed to be coming down harder, but if Will didn't want to see her she had to go.

"Go?" Will echoed. He walked over to her, she was now quite wet and shivering slightly. "You can't leave its pouring rain outside you'll get sick, Elizabeth its dark, besides," Will looked at his hands, suddenly feeling silly. "you promised me you'd stay here with me, remember?" He helped her over to his cot, for one thing he was still quite weak and Elizabeth didn't seem in much better shape. And he had to know what was going on. "Now, please tell me what's wrong." Will put his arm around her shoulder, pulling her close to him and getting himself wet in the process. "Why did you write this?" his voice was barely a whisper as he relutantly handed Elizabeth her letter.

Elizabeth looked at Will then looked away, "While you were sick, you had a nightmare and when I tried to confort you, you screamed at me, told me you hate me and that I should leave, you never wanted to see me again," Elizabeth paused for a moment, "I wanted you to rest so it seemed like a good idea to leave you alone," The storm outside was hitting as hard as ever! Thunder clapping widly outside.

"Oh Elizabeth," Will felt bad but he still didn't remember yelling at her...but he did vaguely remember having that awful nightmare. Will shivered, the storm outside was loud and unnerving. He turned away so Elizabeth couldn't see his face. "I'm sorry, I was just sick I guess. I didn't mean what I said." Will hoped she believed him. "I don't hate you Elizabeth...but you were having a nightmare too." suddenly he realized something. "Do you feel guilty about leaving Jack?"

Elizabeth felt a shiver run down her spine as he whispered to her words of confort. Elizabeth looked at him, "I know you didn't mean it, I just thought it would be best if you were alone for a while," Elizabeth turned to look at Will she stroked his cheek hoping to make him feel better. "I do feel guilty about leaving Jack, but I don't love him, I just don't think I did the right thing, but I didn't everyone to die," Elizabeth whispered softly.
