Jack had watched the commotion go on between Belle and May, but then noticed Belle was distracted. Following her eyes, he saw the new person and slowly made his way over to the man.
He stopped right near him, and just had a straight face on. Staring into his eyes, he spoke. "And what are you - enuech? (sp?) You better not be ..." He then looked down Nikaloai and saw his clothes, then looked back up to his face.

Belle stayed where she was, by May, but watched Jack interact with Nikolai.

Jack then took a side glance to the pirates holding the man still, and nodded. "Lock him up -" He said, then smirked at Nikaloali and continued. "-for now anyways." Jack then took a step back as the pirates walked him down. He would be sent down to the bottom of the ship, where they had special iron cages to hold anyone who did something that deserved to be locked up. Like a prison - only on water.
He then turned round and walked back to May and Belle. He began speaking, waving and gesturing wildly. "Belle - I want you to ... teach ... May. Teach her to know everything about -" He paused for a moment, catching his breath. "Piracy ... smuggling -" Jack then walked close to the railings, holding onto the banister and slowly ran his hand across the wood. "The Pearl ... our adventures." Turning his head round he looked back to the man who was just being forced down the stairs. "- and finaly, the code."

"Aye, Captain," Belle responded, still watching Jack a moment before turning her back, instructing May to follow. "Now May...piracy is NOT something to be laughed upon...though it is frowned upon by some, piracy is a way of life." She stated matter-of-factly. "Us pirates may hurt people sometime...but that is because they are in the way. Stay out of the way of those higher than you if you wish to survive in this world." She stopped for a moment and looked at May, then turned back and looked out to the sea.
She patted the wood banaster of The Pearl and closed her eyes a moment. "This ship means the world to the Captain...so you must do NOTHING in any way to put it in danger...or he may just have to kill you..." She gave a joking smile in May's direction. "Jack and The Pearl have been through much together. More than I could ever inform you of in a day...more than I probably even know about..."
Belle turned and looked over her shoulder in the direction Nikolai had been taken away to. "And the code...the code is never, ever to be looked jokingly upon. It is our - a pirate's - set of rules, per say...But a rule you must always remember..." She paused, as if to let what she had already said sink in. "Any man who falls behind, is left behind." She looked at May intently, as if silently asking if she had gotten all of that, then, again, walked in another direction, hoping May would follow.

Belle smiled sympathetically at May. "Good, good...now follow me..." Belle instructed and started off in an opposite direction. She still had much to show the newcomer.

Jack smiled, one man who killed another was locked up and a new pirate was in the makings. Nodding his head to the pirates that came up from the stairs. He opened up his compass, and started walking around the deck in which the arrow was pointing.

May started to loose her attention; she was always easily distracted. Looking around she watched a pelican fly and dive bomb a fish.

Belle was walking in the direction she was headed to show May, her boots clicking on the wood beneith her. It was then that she realized she heard no sound accompanying behind her.
Belle paused a moment, placed a hand on her hip and announced with out turning. "May," Belle turned on the heel of her boot to face May now. Her fingers were drumming where they rested on her hip and one booted foot tapped lightly in tune with it. "Around here - like I said before if you had been listening - we listen to the higher authority around here. Jack put me in charge of you for the time being and right now...I'm in higher authority than you." As she said the last words, her hand came off her hips and she pointed a slender index finger at the girl. Her back was slightly bent, though she was but one inch taller. Her annoyed face was quickly changed though and she chanced a small smile, both eyes closed in a relaxed sort of way.
Belle turned quickly once again and began to walk in her original direction. "Now, if you will, I have but a few small things to show you." She paused, and looked over her shouder. "Do you think you can manage for a few small moments? Then I will but happily leave you to ye own mindings..."
She turned her brown eyes from May, to where Jack stood on deck, to some of the other crew, and finally, back to May. "See," She motioned towards the other crew working aboard. "We aboard the Black Pearl have much to accomplish, and so little time..." She smirked again, turned, and was off, hoping young May got the message. Belle was a friendly lass to be sure...but she didn't like to be taken lightly, and this girl seemed to be testing her boundries.
