May looked around; not really knowing what she should be doing. She was at the railing of the ship, looking at the water; contemplating. She didn't ask to be saved by pirates. Looking at the water, she contemplated jumping ship. All she wanted, but jumping the other ship she was on, was to be AWAY from pirates...

Belle paused once again and flipped around. She didn't speak for a few moments but sighed heavily and rested her arms cross her chest. Belle watched May look over the railing for awhile. Watched her confused look.
"Do you speak?" Belle asked of a sudden, an emphasis on the word speak. The wind was picking up now and her golden hair followed its trail. There was a distance between the two girls but Belle didn't make any attempt to close the gap. "Do you say anything? If I recall, I've heard you say maybe but two things all day..." She stopped her toe from tapping below her. Quickly, she changed the subject.
"Girl...we're not going to hurt you - do anything to you! You know what? If this is the way you're going to act, fine." Belle threw a hand up as she exclaimed the last sentace. She huffed in sheer annoyance as she made her way to where she was going to take May in the first place. She needed a bit of time to herself...

Jack; now annoyed with the compass, frowned slightly and shook it. He then noticed things weren't going according to plan and closed the compass. He talked to Mr Gibbs for a short while, about the heading that they were going. "Away - far away from Port Royal. Actually ... make a stop at Tortuga." Jack said, and Gibbs never questioned, just simply walked towards the wheel and turned it slightly. Jack then began making his way towards May, but got stopped by one of his pirates. The pirate said: "Cap'n, sir. Ye know the lass - yea', she is May Westford. A strange girl ay that she is ... but beholds a prophet. If you say believe in one ... See, her eyes will guide a pirate ship to a treasure that only she can see in 'er currupted mind. The clues to the location of the treasure is said told in a trance brought on by fits of rageā¦ Ye know what that means - don't ya' sir?" Jack was amazed, and already conjured a plan. He then replied in a quiet voice: "Of course - I know where your getting at. In fits of rage - eh? Humm, that be intesting." He paused, then found a way to end his plan he had now just finished. "I tell ye' wah ... keep those lips sealed - and you'll get extra booty. Aye ..." The pirate, now lured into Jack's strange plot, nodded and repeated his captain's last word, before trotting off and scwabbing the deck. With a smile upon his face, Jack wheeled round on the heel of his boot and walked up to wheel. He grabbed Mr Gibbs off his station, then took him into his Captain's quaters and told Gibbs his plan and about May.

May watched as Belle walk off; she was too lost in her emotions to do anything. She turned around and looked back at the water. A silent tear rolled down her cheek; all she wanted was to go home, see her family again...

Belle stopped midway again. She had a better idea. With another quick turn, she scurried up the short flight of stairs to where Jack stood with Gibbs (a very familiar sight). She didn't want to complain, but she felt she needed to say something.
"Jack..." She started once she was sure Jack was done with Gibbs. "That girl...I've tried everything! She won't listen to me,"

May's ears perked up when she heard a parrot squak. What she heard it said made her want to jump ship all the faster.
"Cursed eyes!" The parrot squaked. "Cursed eyes!" It squaked again.

Belle looked quickly over at the parrot, but gave it little thought. That bird squaked nonsense all the time...little likely did it mean something now.

The parrot kept squaking and wouldn't stop; it was driving May insane. She started to climb over the railing of the ship.

"Cotton! Shut that bird up!" The bird was also driving her mad. She had to go through enough of this already. Belle yelled over her shoulder causing others to stop what they were doing and look at her. She gave them a look that informed them to get back to work, which they complied to eagerly.
