Xan had slowly started to sit up painfully. She saw Barbossa started to walk towards them; albeit a bit slowly. She grabbed her sword and threw it at him like a speare. The blade hit him in the chest. Xan's eyes rolled to the back of her head as she blacked out.
Davina stood still shaking; her bottom lip quivering, "...is mommy dead...?"

"No hunny ... but she's close... Davina stay with Mummy I --"
He turned to swing back to his ship - to be face to face with Bill, who was holding water...

Xan mummbled subconsciously, "...xander..." She suddenly groaned; writhing in pain.
Davina's eyes widened, "DADDY!"

Amber, still on the dutchman, stood at the railing horrified. She turned away; not wanting to watch her daughter slowly die.
"Give me the water," the man holding Xander demanded, "or the kid dies" he held a dagger to the young infant. The man was unscrupulous and would do anything to save his captain's life.
Amber turned around with a gasp, "YOU BASTARD!" not realizing that Bill had brought two viles in case something happened. The man was given the water and Xander returned to them; and Xan restored to health with the extra vile.

“DAVINA! Watch your language!”
Will turned to her in surprise at her language.

Davina, sixteen years old, sighed, taking her pink phone from her ear, rolling her eyes to the man that had told her to watch her tongue. “Whatever, Dad”
She put the phone back to her ear and continued to talk away, chitter chattering as she sat behind the counter on a stool to her father’s souvenir store; her feet propped on the table.
The customers that had been in the store, looking around, had heard her conversation and ushered their young children out, glaring at the owner of the store, who was busy stocking shelves.

His shoulders bristled up, as he turned to look at his daughter
“See what you’ve done? You’ve chased away business. Did you not hear what I told you before? If you want to get your volunteer hours for school done in MY store, you will turn off your phone, and you will actually do some work.”
Will looked at her, angrily - this was only the second day that he had had to deal with his teenaged daughter ‘working’ in his store - but her work ethics had already driven him up the wall.
“And I thought I told you to get into costume.”

Davina sighed, “Look, I’ll call you later Lindsay… Dad is being a total drag”
“Dude, that sucks”
“I know! Who does he think he’s talking to-"
