Davina looked up to him, curling her arms around her father’s waist as she cuddled closer in need of being held. Will put his arms around her as she snuggled into his warmth. “Daddy… how many break ups have you gone through in your life -- all three hundred and nineteen years…?”

Will smiled and eased them down backwards gently, as he laid on his daughter’s bed, with his daughter’s head cradled in his chest. He rubbed her arm gently.
“Only one… my former wife, Elizabeth Swann… she left me for your great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandpa, Jack Sparrow… than again… she is your great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandma… so it makes sense I suppose… it hurt me greatly… I had gone through everything for her… lost everything I knew… but it opened the world up for me… and showed me how to truly love someone…your mother. Your Mom, yourself and your brother are the best things that ever happened to me in my whole life.”

Will looked up at her, folding his arms under his head as he looked at her. He sighed softly,
“Besides the fact that I can’t… I just don’t see the need to… I’ve been married, its just on paper. Besides… I live with you, your brother and your Mom, I have since you were two and I came back from the sea… and I always will… its just a matter of principle I suppose. Marriage doesn’t mean anything as long as you truly love your partner with all your heart, as I love your Mom. I love your Mom sooo much it hurts to be away from her… so I could never leave”
