Davina nodded, “You’ve always been there for me when I needed your help, or just needed you… even when I was doing something you didn’t really agree with -- like Kyle -- even though you chased him around the house with your cutlass when he came to the door that time…” She had to laugh softly as she gripped his shirt.

Will’s body started to shake with laughter as he thought back to his daughter’s first date, the previous year.
“Yes well… well okay I’m a little over protective”

“Yes… but that’s better than other parents I know… others don’t really care about what happens to their children.”

“I can believe that… but in my life I have seen so many bad things happen to children, and had them happen to me, that I am by nature trying to prevent the same from happening to you. But you really want to come to work with me again?”

“Yes Daddy… how better to get my hours than with my Daddy in his store?”

Will smiled gently,
“Are you willing to do something more than you’ve been doing?”

Will smiled and nodded, just holding his daughter close, as she eventually fell asleep on him, due to her previous hard crying.

Will was brining a box of stock out of the stock room, into the main part of the store, dressed as a pirate once again.

This time his daughter, Davina, was standing at the counter, as he put it down. She pulled out the box cutter and opened it up, pulling out the stock and looking around for where to put it. She found what she was looking for and put the new items with the same ones of the previous orders.
They worked for sometime, chatting amongst themselves. After a short break, Davina turned to her father, “Daddy… do you still have The Flying Dutchman… or is it sunken?”

Will turned to her as he leaned against the counter
