I put the last bit of the orange into my mouth "Oh, it really was." I tell him, hiding my surprise well. I lick my fingers and continue walking to push past him to get out of the alley. While I walk past him I whipe my fingers cloean on his shirt since not all the stickiness will get off.

I grab her wrist though, and spin her around suddenly so that her back is against the wall and I'm keeping her from moving anywhere. I smirk at the look on her face, but only momentarily. "You'll warm up to me." I predict, and I then let her go again and disappear in the opposite direction of where she was going.

It kinda hurts when he pushes me against the wall. "I highly doubt it." I grunt, push some hair behind my ear before I continue walking into the direction where I was going. Why does he bother anyways. It is not like I am the most "attractive" female in this town and I don't try or want to be it either.

~That night~
I'm at the Faithful Bride again, as I joined some men with a game of cards in one of the far corners. It's a good way to earn some money, when you want to keep a low profile for a while.

I am not working today though. I am sitting at the bar, talking animated to some men. I laugh when one of them makes a joke and take another sip of the drink he bought me (at times it is good to be a girl) and most likely all of them hope to end up with me tonight in some bed. Too bad to dissapoint the lot of them..

"You cheated!" One of the men states, getting up angrily. "Me?" I put on an innocent face. "Did not." "You have five aces!" I glance at the hand I put down and conclude that he has a point. "...Aye, he slipped me one of them." I point at the man on my left.

My eyes slowly over to Jack and linger on him for a moment, a small grin creeping onto my face when I see that someone is strongly dissagreeing with him. I sip my drink again and quickly turn back to the man when I realise I am not really listening to his "terrible intresting story"

"I DID NOT!" The man protests against the accusation. I alter my facial expression to utterly surprised as I turn to look at him. "Yes you did! You said, here, take this so that son of a pig won't win!" "You called me a son of a pig!?" "No I didn't!" He stutters, confused now. I lean back in my chair, tut-tuting in disbelief. "You can't trust nobody no more these days, now can you?" I complain. The man roars and grabs his mug, smacking the other fellow against the head hard.

"One moment." I tell the guy I was talking to with an incredible sweet smile before walking over to the table where Jack was sitting. "Gentlemen, would you please *shut* it?!" I call and for a moment everyone is silent. "Please continue outside, thank you."

"Stay outta this!" The angered man says, and he shoves Ana away roughly. I lower my legs from the table to the floor, growing a little wary cos this seems to get outta hand.
