Cia was a little worried about the Piece of Eight Lydia had managed to get. Her grandson, Thomas, was in the care of two evil people. Even though Cia was a grandmother, she didn't look like one. She still looked like she was twenty, even though she was much older than that. Jack Sparrow was her lover, not husband, but something even more special and intimate, he carried her heart both figurately and literally. For the locket he wore around his neck, carefully hidden, held a piece of Cia's heart. This was his Piece of Eight.

"Mmm...Cutler, I just had another thought," Lydia smiled. "Knowing my mother she gave Sparrow her heart. Figurtively, and literally." She saw Beckett's eyebrows arch. "Yes. Jack's piece of eight is Pacificia's Heart. Or at least part of it. Imagine what we could do with THAT." Lydia smiled, finishing up with Thomas, and putting him back in his crib in his own room. When she walked back into Beckett and hers room. "I could get it on my next raid, Cutler. Easy."
Lydia stood up and turned away from Beckett, then back. "Did you get the whip?" She smirked.

Lord Beckett ignored her request. He stared at her darkly from the other side of the room, with that air of lazy arrogance written across his body – from the superior smirk hiding in the corner of his lips, to the shiny black polish of his long leather, boots.
"A whip?"

Jack fingered the locket under his shirt. It was the most important thing to him, other than Cia herself. Small heartbeats pounded in his hand.
"Jack, we must get to the Brethren."

She smiled mischiviously, and spoke. "Oh, never mind. I was joking."
(Dang cousin! I kill him! Hey Beckett, where do you get all your great icons, besides the ones from your LiveJournal community?)

The Black Pearl traveled as fast as they could, but the wind was against them. Even Cia and her marvelous power over the ocean couldn't do anything to help the situation. Cia paced on deck, Jack watching her. He came up behind her and slid his hands around her waist, pulling her close. His lips were against her neck when he said, "Calm down, luv."
Cia's heart could never get used to Jack touching her. It fluttered as Jack gave her airy but passionate kisses on her neck, trying to calm her down.

Cia watched the horizon after Jack fell asleep in their cabin. The waves were calm and she wondered how her daughter was faring with Beckett.

Jack quickly woke up an walked behind Cia. "We've lost her, haven't we, love?" He gently wrapped his arms around Cia's waist.

You know that your son never will go a Lord, true?. I never could to recognize to him. Understand me, I have to look for my reputation, Lydia ". He said to her with cruelty while it was walking arrogantly along his office. Closed over the chimney and it took his bar of iron to mark pirates. He observed the 'P' with certain pleasure and looked at her again.
