Lydia sighed, and put the book down, and looked at him. "If you are dead, there will be NO reputation." Her eyes were filled with sadness. "The Pirates told me that they're going to kill you! Either way, you need an heir......." Tears formed in Lydia's eyes, but she quickly fought them back, and made her eyes turn cold again. Lydia smiled wit pleasure again. "Last I heard, a Pirate Lord was killed. And now, Elizabeth Swann is a Captain. Turner is content with his death wish to free his father. Do the Pirates think they're going to win this?" She stood up and walked over to Beckett. He could smell rum on her breath. She'd been drinking. "I have a question........Cutler," Her voice was slow, and lazy. "What was you're childhood like? I'm curious." She smiled deviously.

She was giving him an information that he already know, very soon the battle would begin and he had desires of which it began. With the naval fleet of his majestic in his left hand and in with the Dutchman in his right hand, he will be invincible.
He smiled a little, lengthened with gentleness his lips when it heard his question, a question that he did not want to answer, his private life, his youth and his childhood were private matters, he had never spoken with anybody about this topic. When he felt his breath in his face, it blinked several times, he was detesting the rum, for him, the rum pirate was always joined to the word.
" This question, I am not going to answer it to you, Lydia". He answered to her taking strongly between his hands the bar of iron that it was using to mark pirates.

"Alright. I was just wondering." She walked back to the bed and laid down. She looked out the window. "I'm guessing we leave for the open sea tommorow?" She asked. Lydia was Beckett's personal bodyguard when she wasn't a Privateer. She sat up and walked over to Beckett and touched his jaw line. He was smooth, as he shaved everyday. She closed her eyes. "I love you." She finally said it seriously. She wanted him to know just in case anything happened, and they would not be together. "If you die...............I want to go with you. You can count on it." She started to undress for bed. "Don't stay up too late." She got into a silk chemise and went to sleep.

He looked at her fixedly to the eyes, without expressing his feelings, without expressing his emotions before that declaration, I do not also affect whenundressed ahead his and it got into his bed. But only nothing would be with her one night any more ..... this was the business that both sealed. Cutler Beckett sighed , he was not going to sleep in this bed, was not going to sleep with her this night. It did not have to do it, pirate could not love one, it would never do it.
Before doing it, a relaxing bath would happen to relax his body, his muscles and his bones.....it would never do it. Before going to sleep to the guests' room, a relaxing bath would happen to relax his body, his muscles and his bones.....

Cia had fallen asleep with Jack, dreaming, wondering how to get her daughter back to her. She knew that she would never go of her own free will, so Lydia would have to be convinced. She tried to not wake Jack as she got up from their bed in their cabin. She walked on deck for some fresh air. She saw the carving on the side of the stairs and traced the letters. In small print, Jack had written, J+C+L=Sparrows love.
Cia traced the "L" again then made a decision.
"BOSUN!" She said. "Find Cutler Beckett. I don't care where he be, but find him. I've got unfinished business with him."

"But......Miss Jones, Beckett is in Port Royal! And...even so, what are we suppose to do there?" Bosun asked, confused.
Back at Beckett's home, Lydia woke up from the crying of Thomas. She sighed and went to his room, but before entering, she saw Beckett coming from his bath. She looked away, then met his eyes and bowed her head in respect, and went into the room. "Oh no!" She cried. "God no...."

She smiled a little. "I-it's not that. I-it's Thomas. He....he has a horible fever, that's all." She turned to Beckett with tears in her eyes. "I don't want to lose him. He means the world to me, as do you."

He did not say anything to her, only he acted. Rapidly it put himself on his robe of red silk and before going out of the quarter, said to her. " It takes your son, I am going to call my personal doctor ". There were cold words but behind them an incredible tension and worry was hiding.

"T-thank you Cutler." Lydia didn't notice that Beckett was secretly worried. She held Thomas close to her, stroking his head and trying to calm him down.
