He smiled wolfishly, "Well o'course...we'd rather ye stayed, wouldn't we Bill?"
"Aye, yer a good lassie to have around in a tight spot."
"But it's up to ye...if ye decide to stay ye'll have to keep yer mouth shut at the party t'night."
Scarlett turned her back on them so they couldn't see her angry tears. "What about Mina? She'd rather die than betray Jack...I don't think she'll be very happy when she wakes up and finds out what you've done."

"Well that's what we have ye fer isn't it?"Barbossa chuckled.He pulled her into his arms."Ye'll be better off without that brute."
Scarlett pushed him away."I'll just go get ready for the party now."She ran up the stairs to her room and shut the door.Tears sprang from her eyes and she shook uncontolably.When she was done crying she walked over to her vanity.

Open Scene - Sunset on the Pearl, loud music and laughter as Mina runs out onto deck giggling, followed by Barbossa.  "God that was bloody funny!" she panted, holding onto the side of the ship, "Who knew Bootstrap could dance like that?" Barbossa smiled, "Aye, he's a strange lad...but a good mate.""Speaking of good mates...Scarlett seemed a little subdued tonight, didn't she? Wonder what's wrong with her." "Probably Jack problems, you should let her have some time to herself...rum?" He handed her a tankard and she sipped at it. Barbossa watched her, smiling slightly...perfect. Once she was out he would put her to bed - he didn't want to risk having to hurt her during the mutiny...he hated to admit it but Mina was precious to him. Very precious to him. He watched as the drug began to take over, her eyes glazing over and her mouth working soundlessly. "H-Hector...I don't feel so good..." Suddenly she slumped forward and he caught her swiftly. |

Scarlett was sitting on a chair in the corner, watching the crew dancing happily.She frowned and slumped back in the chair.She had dressed in a purple floor length dress and her hair was curly and had a few random braids.Over all she looked very pretty.She didn't feel pretty...
"Love what's wrong?It's a party!"Jack said wobbling a little.He sat next to her and grinned.He twirled a braid in her hair."Very pretty."He leaned in to kiss her.
Scarlett kissed him passionatley.It was the best kiss they had ever had as a couple, it was earth shattering.She pulled away as a tear slid down her cheek.She stood up and walked to the deck."I'm sorry Jack...I love you."She ran up the stairs to find Mina being put in her bed by Barbossa."Can I stay with her?"she asked between tears.
Jack stood up alarmed at her crying."Scarlett wait!"he began to walk up the deck when pintel and ragetti stopped him."Sorry Cap'n, parties over."the sneered.

"What the Hell are ya talking about? It's just started!" Jack stuttered as they grabbed him, "Oi! Gerroff! Barbossa! Get these mangy curs off me!"
"Oh Jackie! How it amuses me to see ya struggling like a trapped rat," Barbossa sauntered down from the deck, grinning, "But what a bloody racket yer makin' - Mina's tryin' to sleep. Ragetti, Pintel - gag him."

Scarlett lay in the bed with a sleeping Mina.Tears slowly rolled down her cheeks as she heard the racket coming form outside.

"Scarlett! Scarlett! God damn you help!" Jack yelled and she wept - the panic in his voice was so strange...so frightening. She watched from the keyhole as Barbossa handed him a pistol.
"For when the heat and the thirst gets too much fer ye Jackie."
"H-Hector?" Mina muttered in her sleep and Scarlett, glad of the distraction, hurried over to her, feeling the hot knot of guilt loosen slightly as she knelt beside the bed to soothe her friend.

When Scarlett heard them chant "Plank,plank.."she ran out onto the deck to face Jack."Jack I'm sorry...I..."she ran toward him and kissed him feircly.She then hugged him tightly."We'll meet again...someday."she whispered.
Jack grimaced at her words."Hopefully not to soon."

The pirates laughed and Barbossa shrugged, "I think ye'll be too happy as Govenor o' that little island to bother comin' after us."

Scarlett glared at Barbossa."You said you wouldn't kill him!"she screamed.She pulled out her pistol and pointed it at him.
"I'm not gonna kill him, just leave him here."Barbossa frowned at the gun in his face.
Scarlett prepared the gun."It's as good as killing him!"she shouted, tears spilling down her cheeks.
