The Black Pearl...my ship, my home, my freedom.
It's all I've ever needed, all I've ever wanted - apart from the occasional bottle of rum and saucy wench - and I'm never happier than when I'm at the helm, gazing out to the horizon.

Scarlett walked out onto the deck of the Black Pearl.She smiled at the smell of the ocean.When she spotted Jack she immediatley seized her opportunity.Scarlett crept up behind him and"Boo!"she yelled.
Jack jumped at the sound.He turned around at smiled at the beautiful Scarlett."You know I hate that."he said, looking her over.
"I know but I was born to break the rules."she said with a wink.Scarlett grabbed the bottle of rum Jack was carrying and took a good long swig.

"Oi! Stop swigging all the rum you two!" I swabbed my way furiously over the poopdeck towards Jack and Scarlett. I wasn't in a particularly good mood, having woken up at 4 in the morning under a table in a seedy bar. Jack had insisted we were out of Tortuga by dawn and I had spent all afternoon mopping up sick...not my idea of a perfect day.

Scarlett laughed."Okay Mina you can have some too!There's plenty to go around."She smiled at her friend.When she spotted the mop she frowned."And why the bloody hell are you swabbing up all this sick?"she asked.
Jack closed his eyes.He was very tired."Because she took part in making it!"When Jack saw the glares of the two women, he gulped.

"Well it didn't help that you were puking all over and you started a fight with Hector! He was ranting all night - I got no bloody sleep!"
Mina slapped the mop down ferociously and gulped at the rum, her eyes closed as she savoured the bittersweet taste.

"Jack you stupid brute!If you helped yourself then you swab it up!"Scarlett said, grabbing the mop from Mina and thrusting it into Jack's arms.
Jack glared at Scarlett."No!I'm the captain I say what goes!"he said, impressing himself with his authority.
Scarlett raised an eyebrow at him."Fine then I'll just get my things out of captain's quarters!"she yelled.They fought all the time but always made up seconds later.

Mina was so engrossed in yet another of their adorable little quarrels - and indeed in the bottle of rum in her hand - that she didn't hear the light footsteps of someone creeping up behind her...

Jack mentally rolled his eyes. He didn't want her out of his quarters and he knew that she wouldn't forgive until he got down on his knees and begged her.And he did just that."Please don't leave me room. I need you."
Scarlett smiled at him and pulled him up."Well I guess."She kissed him lightly and smiled.

Pintel leapt out of nowhere and snatched to rum out of Mina's hand.
Ragetti hurried up behind him, chasing Barbossa's baby monkey.
"The bloody thing's pinched me boot!"
