"Uhh.. the Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission is planned by Nasa for December." I announce the headline. "That's basically it." I smirk and fold the newspapers closed.
"I'm gonna take a shower!" I say, and I dart upstairs before anyone else can steal the bathroom first.

After showering I go back to my bedroom and get dressed. Black converse shoes, jeans ripped at both knees, and a grey sweatshirt cos it's still cold as hell outside. My hair has grown slightly longer in the vacation cos I never bother to get it cut, and it's more unruly than usual, but it looks okay.
After taking my bag I head downstairs again, ready to go five minutes before we actually gotta leave. Good going for a first day.
