"Momma doesnt care, as long as she's had her dinner, and Arnie's asleep," Gilbert shrugged. "She'll have been out like a light as soon as I left," He walked through her house into the living room. "So, what do you want to do?" He asked, noticing the cards on the table. "Blackjack or poker?" Gilbert joked.

"hm.. the easiest " she said, since she always chose the easiest when they would play cardgames. Nikki sat down and handed the card to him, observing him "You shouldn't talk about your mom like that.. I know you care about her too much to talk about her like that" she said, easily seeing through his tough act.

Gilbert shrugged, taking the cards and shuffling them. "It's true, Momma only cares about Arnie. As long as Arnie reaches his next birthday, nothing else matters to her," Gilbert dealt the cards, deciding on Poker. "What are the stakes?" Gilbert smirked, knowing they never played for real money.

"...for a picknick!" She said, always figuring out fun things to play for. "If I win you have to organize a picknick for me, if you win I have to organize a picknick for us, tomorrow round sunset near the 'lake' " she suggested "and she does care about you, you're the one who's keeping the family together, she knows you're important and unmissable"

Gilbert rolled his eyes. He held his hand out to her, now grinning, putting his mother out of his mind. "You're on. I'll look forward to your picnic," He winked.

"You know I always win," Gilbert smirked, tapping her back. "Show your cards, Jenson," He teased her, calling her by her surname.

"My pleasure, Grape" she said, trying to sound tough and strict but she giggled when she layed her cards on the table "Show me yours, Grape" she chuckled.

Gilbert laid his cards down on the table face down so she couldnt see them. "You won," He shrugged. She hadnt won, but Gilbert liked to let her win a lot of the time. "But I'll beat you next hand," He smirked.
