"If it is, we've yet to feel it." Jack said, rolling a coin between his fingers. When she got strange looks, he sighed and slipped it back into his pocket. "Why doesn't anyone believe me? I said it wasn't cursed before." But this information had come from a bum sitting in the streets of a port down only a few days before Jack had found Naomi and Kaleb.
Naomi slipped the ring into her finger and held it up to the light, noticing that she didn't feel any different. Giving a shrug she went over to Kaleb and smiled sweetly, "You and turtles." She said with a giggle.

Will shook his head incredulously, but nonetheless, after looking in the chest and seeing the various spoils inside, he gave the slightest of shrugs and knelt beside it, carefully taking his pick of items.
Kaleb grinned at the sound of Naomi's voice, his hand going to his throat to finger the new pendant thoughtfully. "Aye. Me an' turtles, love." He nodded towards her own necklaces, giving an appreciative look. "You've a good eye. They look nice on you. I like the pearl one especially."

"Thanks..." Naomi blushed and looked down at her own necklaces, curling the amber one around her finger. "They're so pretty. Mum always wanted pearls..." She frowned and shook her head. She felt like she didn't deserve these, but she decided to hold onto them for now.
"All right. Let's get this back to the ship. Oi, oi." Jack waved a hand and made to find the boat they had brought to shore, letting the others carry the chest.

Will and Kaleb once again took hold of the chest, and along with two others, carried their treasure to the shore and loaded it into the boat with little difficulty. Since the chest was quite big however, it took up room in the boat for about two people. Seeing this, Kaleb cleared his throat and spoke. "Cap'n, I'll stay behind and wait for the second load." he offered with a shrug.

"Awfully kind of you. Right, then. Leave the second whelp behind. Gibbs will come back for you." Jack said. Mr. Cotton, who had remained silent and unmoving the entire time, boarded the boat just as Naomi hopped out. She stood beside Kaleb.
"I'll stay with him. And don't think about leaving us behind or I WILL find you, Sparrow." She growled. Jack flinched and sat, telling Mr. Cotton to row. Naomi watched them slip away, sighing. "Think he's going to come back?"

Kaleb frowned, having forgotten Jack Sparrow's legendary and somewhat duplicitous nature until now. His eyes upon the gig as it steadily made its way farther out to sea, towards the anchored Pearl, he grimaced. "Well I should certainly hope so." he answered, shaking his head at his stupidity. He then turned to Naomi, shrugging and giving a wave that encompassed both her and the surrounding island. "Though staying 'ere with you wouldn't be a bad fate at all."

"Aye." Naomi smiled and squinted behind her, dragging her feet through the sand as she made her way over to the jungle like foliage. She stopped just on the outside, running her fingers over a single petal of a bright yellow and black spotted flower. Naomi plucked it and sniffed it gently, sighing. It smelt lovely, and she wished she as able to take the entire bush with her.
"You're the one person I'd want to be stranded on an island with." She said loudly enough for him to hear.

Kaleb sat down in the sand, his arms resting on his knees as he continued watched the boat. He turned slightly at Naomi's words, a smile upon his face. "Well I can guarantee you'd have better conversations with me than if it had been Cotton who stayed."

Naomi shook her head with a smile, sitting beside him. She shielding her eyes from the glare of the sun, watching as the longboat was pulled up onto the Pearl. It seemed as though Jack was leaving them behind, which had been expected. Naomi sighed and rubbed her face with both hands. "I'm going to kill him..." ~*~ "Sir... I feel bad for leaving them behind." Gibbs said, wringing his hands. Jack took the wheel and made for a direction that was far away from the Island of Regret. He snarled. "If it wasn't for that whelp, I wouldn't have gotten holes in me ship. And I don't that the lass telling me what to do and where to go anymore. I know those weren't empty threats. Besides, I never specified how long they could be crew for." He said. Gibbs smirked.

Upon seeing that the longboat would not return, Kaleb stood and ran to the surf, enraged. He stopped just at the water's edge and threw his hands up, the tips of his boots darkening as the water touched them. "DAMN YOU SPARROW!" he bellowed.
For a moment he thought they could make it by swimming, but that faint hope was dashed as he saw the reef breaks at the opening of the natural port, a point between him and the Pearl. The churning waves were strong and surprisingly tall, and Kaleb was sure there were rip tides below the waves as well. There was no way they'd be able to pass them without having a craft of some kind - any attempt otherwise would end up with them getting rolled and slammed back into shore. With an exasperated sigh he tipped his hat up slightly and scratched his head, then turned to Naomi. "I can't believe this." he seethed. "He's going to pay."

Once Will realized the longboat was not going back for Kaleb and Naomi he strode up to Jack, a look of confusion on his face. "Jack, what are you doing?!"
