Sneaking Out

"Oooh..." Naomi flopped back and held her stomach, her eyes closed. The food had been a little too good for her own good. Naomi had eaten more than her stomach could hold, and now it hurt terribly. "Good... Ow."

"I hope you enjoyed your fill. Night will come soon, so allow my people to show you to your sleeping quarters." Luis motioned and clapped. The people helped them stand and lead them into the forest, a beaten path taking them only a few minutes in. A large hut, seemingly unoccupied, was presented to them.

"You and man go sleep." Said a villager roughly, trying to speak decent English. Naomi thanked him and bowed, looking to Kaleb."

"Very nice."

The Pearl[/i[] shook and pitched from the force of the churning waved and hits of the cannons balls. Jack shouted for his crew to fire, and so they did. The same amount of damage was no doubt not shared when his ship fired, but Jack was more concerned with his get away.

"Gibbs, get me out of here. I don't care how. I want to get on land." He said. Gibbs stammered.

"Aye... captain."

Ba-zing!
Smoke curled up from the mouth of the pistol, as well as the lock. Elizabeth had hunched her shoulders upon hearing the blast, but opened her eyes to see when it faded. The door, wit the rocking of the ship, slowly creaked open.

"Will! You're so smart. " She grabbed his face and kissed him, taking his hand and running out.

Kaleb bowed and thanked the villagers as well, giving a grateful smile. Upon entering the hut his brows rose and he turned to Naomi. "Well love, I love me jacket dearly but I'm going to give it back to you for tonight so you don't get cold." With that he slipped out of the jacket and handed it to her, a lopsided smile on his face. "And I promise I'll stay on my side of the hut."

The Cutter did indeed take what the Pearl shot at her, but her seemingly intangible hull held no visible damage as she got even closer to the other ship, her own cannons continuing to fire. Ellington sneered, then bellowed, raising his pistol into the air, "Lower the gang plank!"

Will grinned and kissed Elizabeth back, leading her up to the deck of the Pearl. He and Sparrow were going to have a talk.

"That's very sweet of you," Naomi took the coat and let it rest around her shoulder, her eyes staring down at the ground. She slipped into the hut and looked around. It was very nicely decorated, silk tapestry lining the walls. There was a large bed, topped with red sheets, sitting against the middle of the far wall, round in shape and topped with differently sized pillows. Strings of beads hung from the ceiling and various other places, a candles, unlit, placed on top of squat tables.

"Nice place."

Jack cursed under his breath when he saw the gang plank being lowered. The men above deck drew out their cutlasses and pistols, ready for a fight, Jack looked around, spotting Gibbs lowering the longboat. Making sure that he had all his things, Jack rushed to the boat and dropped in when it was lowered to the water. Gibbs followed in after him, pushing off with an oar.

But Jack was gone. Elizabeth didn't find him anywhere, until she stood on the side of the ship. She squinted at the speck bobbing in the stormy waters, pointing. "Where's Sparrow going?!"

Kaleb nodded in agreement. "They have a funny taste in decorations for people stuck in the middle of nowhere, wouldn't you say?" He moved around the hut, studying his surroundings a minute before returning his attention to Naomi. "Do you think Luis was marooned here? He doesn't seem to fit in with the villagers, and it would explain the tapestries and such."

Ellington roared upon seeing Sparrow making an escape attempt. He harnessed his powers and churned the waves around the longboat, effectively preventing his prey from getting past the stern of the Pearl. "You can't get away from me Sparrow! I will have my revenge!"

Will unsheathed his sword and hacked down a Cutter crew member, then watched as Jack tried to get away. "Where does he think he's going to go?" he asked incredulously, waving a hand at the ungodly waves swirling about them. He then spotted Ellington, his eyes widening in both shock and revulsion. "Elizabeth, look! It's that East India Trading Company captain!"
