"Mm-hmm", - I nod, my good mood vanishing into thin air. To be honest, I thought there was a way-out in the map. I was sure of it and now I'm rather disappointed. I don't want to take guesses. I don't want to go back through the whole Hell's Water and survive all of it again. I want to go to the Caribbean, damn it.
I'm tired. All my body is aching. And I am afraid of sleeping.
Smile. Play cool, - I persuade myself. I don't want to disappoint Jack by showing my own disappointment, so... time for pretending a bit.
"Okay", - I chuckle softly. - "We'll push our luck then".

"Aye", - I nod, feeling a wave of exhaustion wash over me. It's too cold ondecks now and I'd feel much better in a warm and comfortable bed, but I'm afraid of falling asleep and this chilly wind is definitely helping me to stay awake: it's hard to fall asleep when it's so annoyingly cold.
"Sometimes it jest seems too far away", - I tell him honestly.
