"Good t' know ye didn't forget it, darlin'." I grin at her casually, not finding her words insulting in any way. I am, after all, a pirate. A smuggler. A scallywag. Prooved that more than once, and certainly to her as well. Whether I regret that or not is not the question - I actually never wondered about it, didn't allow myself to. Simple as that.
"Anyhow. I suppose tha's the qualities tha' got me here, eh? Seeing as them gits.." I nod at the Governor, "..need me so badly."

"Good memory can be not only a bliss, but also a curse", - I smirk and look at Jack, tilting my head to a side slightly, watching him and his reaction. The more moments pass by, the more we talk and simply see each other, the more I realize that I still remember too much, almost everything about him and about the time we once shared. The more grins of his I see, the more memories flood at me, the harder it becomes to resist them and for a while I drift away into these memories...
"Yes", - I snap out of my thoughts, preferring to stick to the reality now. What was in the past, stays in the past. - "They get your guidance through Hell Waters", - I use this name on purpose, instead of the Belial's Bay, - "and you know what you can get there. I bet you do", - I smirk again. - "So the two sides of the deal get what they aim at".
The Governor frowned, watching Jack and Scarlett, the pirate and the lady. Or the two pirates? When she talked to him, her voice was different, her whole posture was different as well. Who was she and what was she luring them into? Maybe this cooperation with the pirate is a trap for us? What is her goal? Are they together, is there a plot? "Mister Sparrow, what are the requirements from your side?" - the Governor asked, still eyeing Jack and Scarlett suspiciously, not trusting either of them now.

My eyes are still on Scarlett as I answer; "My requirements are simple, mate." I reply the Governor. "Three ships, the best of your fleet. A Naval crew under my command. No armory aboard said ships and full loyalty to the Pearl and her command." I now turn my gaze to the fellow, and a golden smile touches my features. "You needed worry, they won't need anything to shoot wi'.. there's no-one in those areas anyway."

"*You* will be in this area, you and your ship. Mister Sparrow, taking your... "business" in consideration, I can't leave the ships disarmed, they will possibly need to shoot, if someone attacks", - the Governor shrugged. - "We can't trust you, therefore the ships will be armed, at least one of the three - it will be fair, even though this word must be of no meaning for you. One armed - it stays out of question", - he said firmly.
I watch them with mild interest: I've never seen Jack cooperate with the Navy, and I've never seen the Navy cooperate with pirates, therefore it's quite amusing.

"As if I can't be trusted." I reply, smirking casually. A reply of sheer irony, of course. My reasons to have those Navy vessels unarmed are hardly honourable. And the fact that the Governor is willing to compromise my wishes so generously, in fact surprises me. The fellow has to realize that it will do him no good.. but he's not holding the cards in this negotiation. He needs me, and in his eyes it's not the other way around.. so he has to grant me as much as he can do without basically commiting suicide right away.
"One can be armed." I continue the negotiations. "But you play any tricks on us an' the Pearl will blow all three of ye nutshells to the depths, savvy?" I lean back in my chair and put my boots onto the desk. "Second condition; the Pearl'll need new supplies which I'm sure you will gladly take care of. Third; navigation will be taken care of on the Pearl and the Pearl alone, nobody is to argue with the course I set out. And fourth and last condition..." I grin slightly, "I want *her* on me ship."
I don't trust her, that's not the issue. The thing is that it's easier to keep an eye on her if she's nearby. If she's got anything up her sleeve, she won't be able to do anything without me knowing it.

As if you *can* be trusted... - I smirk to myself and keep watching these two men with amusement. I look at the Governor and it's obvious that he has to compromise, because he needs Sparrow's help and not vice versa. My eyes dart to Jack and I realize that he's simply fooling around, trying to get as much profit as he can out of this bargain, and he's doing fairly well at this task. Well, after all, it's Jack - couldn't expect anything else of him.
Supplies, navigation, the Navy-vessels under his command...
The Governor nods stiffly at each condition, agreeing to Jack's demands and realizing that he doesn't have any choice but fulfilling the pirate's requirements: two ships disarmed and unprotected, spending money on supplying the pirate-ship, the Navy-officers being under the pirate's command... "What a shame..." - he thinks, disappointed, but quite desperate: he agreed to accept this 'help' from Sparrow, and the bargain is the bargain, therefore they have to cooperate. "I accept your conditions, Mister Sparrow", - the Governor says before Jack's last words are said, - "you will get the supplies and everything else you demand. And please, take your feet down to the floor, from the desk" - he frowns at Jack's behaviour.
"I want *her* on me ship".
"I knew you'd say it", - I look at him with a frown on my features, but say nothing for a while, taking my time to come up with proper words.
The Governor's face falls as he looks at Jack, shocked: "Mister Sparrow! For God's sake! Miss O'Hara can't be a part of the bargain, since she's a person, not an object for a trade! You can't stipulate in this case, it's out of question!" - he says heatedly and quite angrily.
"It's his condition", - I say calmly, addressing the old man. - "You want to find the lost ships, and therefore I am willing to sacrifice whatever will be needed for the sake of this purpose", - I supress a chuckle, since there haughty words are making me laugh.
"But, Scarlett!"
"I *have* to", - I smirk.

"Honestly, I thought them Navy was quite good at tradin' people." I say dryly. They cooperate with the East Indian Company, after all, and slavery is one of the main 'products' they trade. I experience that in several ways in the past. As the one who was to ship them, and as the one being shipped. Neither of those suited my fancy much. His words now seemed the pure sense of irony.
"Anyway," I take my feet of the desk at last, leaning forward slightly as I look at the Governor. "The lady will be safe an' sound aboard the Pearl, that much I can grant you. But as she's saying.. she's coming." A golden smirk comes to my features as I extend my hand to shake the Governors. "Do we have an accord?"

The Governor frowned: "The business of the Navy is out of your concern, Mister Sparrow", - he replied coldly. He knew what Sparrow was talking about, but, firstly, it was none of the pirate's business and secondly, this was a totally different situation.
"Safe and sound?" - I chuckle softly, listening to their conversation. I watch Jack offer his hand to the Governor and smirk slightly as they confirm the deal by a hand-shake. But somehow I still can't believe that it's happening.
I will see the Pearl. I will sail away. I will be in the open ocean again. These thoughts alone can make my head spin, but I'm not a young girl anymore - I know I shouldn't get too excited until something really happens.
"Seems that we do have an accord", - I smirk.

"Actually, you don't have one.. you're part of the bargain." I say, just to tease her. I smirk and get up, quite content about how things turned out to be. "Very well.. when dye fancy t' sail mate?" I ask the Governor. (sorry t hat it's so short. I'm at uni XX )

I stand up as well, rolling my eyes slightly when Jack tells me I'm just a part of the bargain. Ha-ha, darling, think so if it pleases you, - I smirk to myself, but I know he's teasing me - like he used to do so many years ago.
"Right", - I mutter. The sooner - the better, - my eyes dart to the Governor as I expect him to answer Jack's question.
"As soon as everything is ready", - he says, - "not later than in two days".
